It's been two weeks after my birthday and everything went back to normal.I go running early in the morning around five,comes back by past seven and get ready for the day's activities.
Dan resume back to the pack house since he's the beta.But Kate still goes running with me.I'm thankful that she didn't talk about what happened the day after my birthday,even mom didn't talk about it and I appreciate it a lot.
My phone rang disrupting the peaceful moment I was having on our balcony after a long day at the pack school.I frowned.
"Hi."A male voice says.
"Hi..Who am I unto please?"I asked.
"It's Damion,you gave me your number on your birthday, you remember me.,?"
"Oh,how are you Damion,?."
"I'm fine and well,sorry it took me so long to call,it been really rough here with the rogues,..sorry again." Damion said.
"No it's fine,so how are you people holding up?".I asked sympathetically.
"Well,it's better now..so how are you..how have you been.?"he asked.
"I'm good and I have been well,thank you."
"That's great.ehm Helena would you like to come here to our pack this weekend.?...."
"Uh uhn..."
"...see,Derek my Alpha found his mate a week ago,and its a tradition of ours that there will be coronation for the to-be Luna of the pack.So the coronation is this Friday and theres a dinner party afterwards,so I want you to be my plus one if you don't mind." Damion explains.
"A dinner party.?"
"Yes,something my alpha picked on in the human part,he usually visit that place and he have lots of friends there.We've witness how mates are joined in the human world and Derek wants a reception after the Luna's coronation and initiation into the pack." Damion chuckled.
It sounds fun and I will like to be part of that experience and why not..Damion sounds like a nice guy.
"I will love to,I can really use a break right now.So how do we go about it.?"I asked.
"What happen,why did you need break?".He sounds worried for me.
"It's nothing just having my moments.So how do we go about it?." I said dismissively.
"Oh,I will send your ride on Thursday evening so you will be able to rest perfectly before the party on Friday night,,is that okay with you?."
"It's fine,I will be ready by 6pm on Thursday then."I replied.
"Okay,bye."And that was the end of the call.I stood up and went inside to pack my bags.
I love getting things done early and moreover I still have to look for dress to wear to the dinner.
I made a to-do-list in my head.which also includes telling mom about my outing.She will be so trilled that I'm going out.
"Are you going somewhere?". Kate spoke from my doorway.I raised my head and smiled at her.She enters my room with a worried look on her face looking from my clothes to the bag.
"I'm going towards the north for the weekend.How are you?".I continue packing my stuffs.Even if Thursday is still like three days away,I want to be ready.
"I'm good.What will you be doing in north?,are you okay?.".Kate asked worriedly.
"I'm fine Kate.A friend invited me over for their Luna's coronation and initiation into the pack."
