Helena's POV
(Two days later.)
"I pray I don't blow our cover.How would I act as if I don't want to kill him?..". My brother Dan who is driving us to Moonlight pack says gripping the steering too hard.
"You should calm down,a lot of people's life depend on us and mom is trying to give you a chance to prove your self and rectify you mistakes of being friends with Derek".I placed my hand on his arms.We will be at the Moonlight pack soon.
"I know sis I know but how can someone be so heartless and wicked?..it's heart breaking."He sighed tiredly.
"Are you both close?,where did you meet him?" .I asked.
"I met him at a club in the human world. I went there for the first time after I met my wolf.I know it's prohibited but I just wanted the experience.Then I smelled another wolf then another then another.They were seven, Derek was in the lead.They smelled me too and headed towards me.I even thought there were the WBC task force and were there to arrest me but Derek came and sat with me.They bought me drinks and we just talked.He said they were also there to have fun.He even convinced me to approach a lady and when I came back they gave both of us drink and even rent a hotel room for us when I woke up in the morning i was the only one there so I just thought the girl left.Derek and I exchange contacts and we met more in the human world and same stuff happened. When I think about it now Derek has been using me to get the humans.He will drug the both of us and get the female out leaving me to wake up on my own..Gosh I feel dirty right now.I feel ashamed." He parked the car and wept.
"You didn't know...but Dan when did you stop?."
"Immediately I met my mate Kate and became the beta of our pack .After I stopped we didn't talk again until he came to our coronation,so I just invited him to your birthday I didn't know he is a bad person."
"You can see this as an opportunity to redeem yourself Dan..You are a good person baby brother so stop beating yourself up and let's go wipe this stupid alpha ass." I says loudly and he chuckled.

"When you told me you are coming I was surprised because you never did.welcome to my pack bro." Derek side hug Dan who I know is dreading the hug and resisting the urge to strangle the alpha.
"Thank you Derek thanks for having us over.I needed an escape.My alpha and I got into little argument and asked me to take the rest of the week off so I just thought I should come and Helena decided to come with me."Dan says after finished hugging him.
"That's huge,how are you able to leave your mate at home?,I can't imagine myself without my mate..Helena how are you doing now?,I came over to your pack but your mom said you've gone over to your aunt' place after the incident I'm really sorry that happened to you and it's an honor having you both.Lets go inside." My brother and I trolled behind him.
We entered the pack house and the few members we met tensed at our arrival. The Luna came from the kitchen to greet us.
"Hey babe this is my friend Dan and his sister Helena they are here for the weekend please make sure their stay is enjoyable." The alpha said to the Luna whose smile didn't reach her eyes.I wonder why.
"Hi Helena hi Dan I'm Selena the Luna of the pack.We are glad to have you over."She introduced and guides us to sit.
Dan and I sat together while Derek sat facing us with Selena standing beside him.
Derek reached out to Selena and she flinched but Derek pulled her to sit beside him and put his hand on her lap which got Selena to stiffen.Something is wrong with those two.
"Thank you Selena I'm happy I'm here oh I haven't seen the beta-Damion since I got here,he was my date at your party." I said innocently to see their reaction and they all tense even the warriors hanging around also did.Derek's faces harden before he masked it.
"Damion is out of the country to look for his mate presently..You know,I feel sad for him for not having a mate yet.So what would you like to have?". Derek lied quickly and changed the topic.
"I will have water for now..Helena what about you.?". Dan said.
"Well I will like Selena to show me to my room if she doesn't mind I have to freshen up.The ride here is so tiring.I will come back when I'm settled." I says and Selena shoot up faster than she should.
"I will be glad just let me check the food I and the omegas are making I will be back shortly." She says and sprinted to the kitchen.
"I think she likes you Helena so excited to show you to your room."He faked a chuckle and I smiled.Something is wrong with those couple. Before any of us could say anything Selena was back.
"I will go relax now.Dan have fun." I rose from my sit and followed Selena up the stairs.She tense all of a sudden when we almost begin to climb.
"Selena are you alright?".I placed my hand on her shoulder and she jolted.
"Oh I-I I'm alright thank you."She stuttered.
When we get to the top floor.There are three rooms on the right then three also on the left.
"On this roll is the Gamma room follow by the beta room then Derek's room at the last edge."She says referring to the rooms on the left.
"Derek's room? Don't you and the Alpha share a room?".I shouldn't be prying but something tells me that's there's issue with this two maybe she will be of help to us.
"Huh we do but we both have our rooms for privacy.That room opposite Derek's is mine.The one next to mine will be yours and this here will be Dan's room." She's says pointing to each one and I nod.
"Let's go to your room so you can freshen up." She says and headed towards the room I will be staying.It is opposite the beta-Damion's room.
"If you need anything just let me know." After opening the door for me Selena decided to leave me.
"You should come inside Selena there's something I want to ask you." She contemplated for a while before she nodded and entered the room with me. The place is neat and spacious.A single bed at one side of the room with a nightstand lamp.The door to the bathroom is opposite.I will check it out later now I have an investigation to do.
"I'm sorry if I'm trespassing but is Derek maltreating you?". And she froze but quickly regain her composure.
"Oh he's not.He is the best mate ever.I am glad I met him.He is treating me right and I love him." She ranted.
"Are you sure Selena?,no one should be in an abusive relationship you know." I stare at her suspiciously.
"One hundred percent sure.We just had a little argument before you and Dan came in we will resolve it." She smiled but it didn't reach her eyes.
"Okay then."I said I shrugged and brought out my phone and my charger.
"I should probably get going." She said but didn't turn around to leave instead she collected my phone and started typing something I look at her curiously but she signal for me to shut up.She handed the phone back to me and left.
Derek is tuning in on our conversation.He heard everything we discussed he didn't trust you.I will talk to you when he's out tonight and can't hear what we will discuss.I need help.
I knew something was wrong somewhere but I plan to get to the root that night.I felt a zing on my mate bond signifying that my mate is within mind linking range.They just arrived at Chris pack. I don't even know the pack's name.
'Hey baby I think I might have found what we need." I told my mate through mind link.
"You didn't miss me?,i haven't talk to you in two days,two days baby...Anyways what did you find?." My mate complained.It's nice hearing him in my mind again I miss him.I chuckled lightly offering my apology before telling him about Selena.
