Chapter 10

  HELENA's POV

     When Jayden said the torture room I was thinking that its the same place as where I was brought but this place isn't.This place is the real torture room and the place I was being kept in was a guest room compare to this place.

What are rogues even doing with torture room?

James and some guy I don't know his name went to bring Damion while Jayden and I wait for them in the torture room.

Jayden and I under the same room is nerve racking,even if we were on each side of the room so far from each other.

I was checking the the room out to distract my self .Just then the door burst open revealing james and that guy I don't know his name on each side of Damion who is so pale beyond recognition.I thought they said they are feeding him.?.

"I think something is wrong with him." James said.

"Then Let's take him to the infirmary.!" I was on their side before I know it I touched his face with my two hands "Damion?".I called.

"Helena,hope you are okay.?" He said in a low tone.My mate was growling but I didn't even stop.

"Please Let's take him to the infirmary we don't want him dying do we.?" I said to my mate pleading.

"Then leave him The hell alone.Let the guys take him.!".Why is he yelling now?,I step back and let them take him.I was going to follow them until Jayden spoke again.

"Don't even think about it.!"Jayden said,While the door close behind James, the guy and Damion.

Jayden crosses the room and I move away from the door to let him go out except that he didn't.

He marched to my front pushed me until my back is against the wall before he slams his lips on mine which takes me by surprise.

He devoured my mouth and I let him,i could taste anger,frustration even passion and lust in the kiss but i don't mind.

I started kissing him back fiercely,my hands in his hair pulling him in to deepen the kiss.

Jayden growl into my mouth as his right hand finds my behind.He grab my ass so tight and press his body into mine.

I moan when I felt his erection against my belle,I moan again and then he was gone.He created space between us as we try catching our breath. "Shit!!!"he exclaimed angrily.

"I..I.I'm so sorry that happened,I wasn't thinking straight..." he did not make eye contact with me. "...It was a mistake,just forget about it." He hurriedly left leaving me alone there.

Mistake?,when does kiss between mates becomes a mistake?this is just amazing!.notice my sarcasm.

I left the torture room and headed to the room Julie and I shared.The place is indeed a torture room because I have just been tortured.

"Hi." I greeted Julie when I entered the room.She was lying on the bed and just staring into space. "..are you okay.?" I asked her with my voice laced with a bit of anger still from my encounter with Jayden.

"I'm okay and I should be the one asking you whether you are okay.Why are you so angry.?" She chuckled.

"Well,your so-called brother is a fool.One minute he was devouring my lips with his hands roaming all my body then the next minute he was saying it's a mistake.can you imagine!!!." I was so angry that I didn't realized I was yelling until I kept quiet. "I'm sorry" I muttered but she shook her head and answered.

"You shouldn't be sorry,he should be".

"No,I'm sorry I yelled at you,it should be him not you Julie.You are a good person and you don't deserve all what is happening to you right now." I said and her face turned sore again.

"It's fine.Did you people later get anything helpful from him.?" She was talking about Damion.

"We couldn't because they had to take him to the infirmary.." her eyes widen "...We didn't do anything to him,he was weak and so pale when they brought him so they had to take him." I explained and she nodded in understanding.

"Are you going to reject him.?" I asked after an awkward silence ruled for some seconds.

"I don't know Hel,I don't know what to do." She started sobbing and I pull her in a hug.Julie is a crier.

"I'm sorry,I shouldn't have brought it up." She shook her head.

We were like that for a couple of minutes: We were sitting on the bed with her head on my shoulder as she sobs.

"I'm sorry I messed up your cloth." She said chuckling as she raise her head.Her eyes are puffed red.

"No it's fine,I'll go get change" I was standing up to go into the bathroom when her voice stops me.

"Can I go check on him.?,I will stay far away I just want to see how he's doing." She was saying.

"He's your mate,so you have every right to go and check on him and who am I that you are seeking that permission from.?" I don't know why she needed my approval.

"Because you are his friend and mine too,I will also want you to come with me."

"Okay,let me go get changed." I said and hurried into the bathroom.

"I don't think you can go in into his ward right now,he's under intensive care.The only person who can let you in is the doctor but then he is talking to Sir Jayden right now,maybe you should wait for them to finish." The young nurse we met said to us.But Damion being under and intensive care is shocking to both i and Julie.her eyes widen.

"Let's wait for the doctor to come out." Julie nod and I pull her to the small bench by the corner as we wait.Both of us didn't say a thing.

Fifteen minutes later,the doctor,Jayden and James emerges all looking angry,except from james who wears a confusing look on his face.

Jayden was the first to spot us,his face soften for a while before going back to how it was when they emerge.

"What is happening to him.?".Julie asked them the moment they got to our place.

"Y'all meet me in my office." Jayden said and left while we all rushed and followed him,Julie and I didn't even bother to check up on Damion since the doctor is also going with us.

"I want you to repeat everything you told me before james comes in and after he did." Jayden said to the doctor who brought a file with him.

Julie was the only one sitting.My hands on her shoulder given her all the support.we ready ourselves to hear what the doctor have to say.

"The beta will die in two days."

"What!!!!"
