Chapter 6

At Oscorp

Norman Osborn who despite being ill, keeps himself occupied and trying not to die by buying himself in his work and right now him and his head Scientist Otto Octavius have been working on something that appears to keep failing much to norman's annoyance but he still intends to keep it active
"Mr Osborn are you even sure about this I mean after the last time I figured that you would want to retire the program" said Otto
"Don't worry Otto, I know what I'm planning on doing" said Norman
"And how exactly is that going to be done especially since all of the data is based on Richard Parker's research" said Otto
"I know what I'm doing, now get to work" said Norman
"Yes Sir" said Otto
"Oh and Otto" said Norman
"Yes sir?" Asked Otto
"How about we keep this extremely civil and I hope you never ever mention Richard Parker ever again" Norman Replied
"Yes I'm aware of how you two had a major disagreement and what he did by destroying most of his research but why did me saying his name bother you so much" said Otto
"It's nothing that you should associate yourself with" said Norman
"Very well then sir" said Otto who then walked away and entered his lab
"Oh Otto if only you knew" said Norman who then hunched over in pain with his skin briefly taking on a greenish hue and his eyes shifting from green to yellow before having everything turn back to normal with him breathing heavily as he does so as if he doesn't really like how that feels
"No I can't let that happen again, I need to stay in control for now" Norman Whispered to himself

Back at Midtown High

As The School days whines down, Peter starts to gather his things when he starts to hear a buzzing noise in his head
"Hey Puny" Flash said to him
"This has to end now" Peter said to himself, he clenched his fist and turned around ready for what's coming
"My Name Is Peter" Peter said to Flash
"Oh my Bad, so Mr Peter what will it be today, a dunk, a dumpster or a wedgie" said Flash and his friends laughed
"Ah is Puny gonna cry, hear let me take these glasses off" Flash said to Peter but then Peter grabbed his arm and threw him across the hallway, he turned around and faced Flash's friends with a look on his face that said Come at me
"Oh Shit" Said One of Flash's friends and then they ran away
Peter looked at his hands then back at Flash and then ran out of school freaked out about what he just did
"Oh man I am dead, so dead, I'm going to get suspended from school, it's gonna go on my permanent record, I'm not going to able to get into college" Peter said to himself then he looked at his hands again
"How'd I even do that anyway, I cracked his wrist and threw him all the way across the hall, I didn't even try, What's happening, am I a mutant" Peter said to himself but then a red car appeared
"Behind you" Peter said to himself and then he leaped out the way
"Oh man that was Close, Wait a minute" Peter said to himself as he realized he sticking the wall
"How am I doing this, I'm sticking to the wall like a bug or, like a spider" Peter said to himself and that's where it clicked as he stared at his hand again as he thought back to the field trip when the spider bit him, his altered physique, and him throwing flash across the hallway
"Holy crap, it seems when that spider bit me, the alterations to that Spider must have caused it to transfer its abilities to me, I'm a literal Spider-Man" Peter said to himself as he leaped off the wall and started to think about ways he can use these for himself
"Okay so I'm strong, fast, and can stick to walls, there's gotta be a way I can use this to change things around for myself, tired of being the punchline, stick of being the loser, from here on out things are going to start going my way, I'll show them" Peter said to himself.

At the Parker Household

"Okay project millionaire, step one make a costume, join the wrestling federation, make out like a bandit, I'm going to be a millionaire" Peter said to himself as he was drawing a costume in his notebook when he heard a knock on his door
"Peter, can I come in" Said Uncle ben
"Yeah" said Peter as he quickly put the notebook away
"So your aunt told me that the school called this afternoon" said uncle ben
"The School, Why?" Peter asked
"Well they said you broke Flash Thompson's hand and then skipped your last two classes, is this true?" Uncle ben replied
"Yeah but he deserved it, he started the whole thing" said Peter
"Peter, you broke his hand and then you ditched school, there no excuse for this behavior" said Uncle Ben
"So what am I supposed to do, let him torture me forever?" Asked Peter
"No Peter, that's not what I'm saying, look I've been through what you're going through, your changing I know, I went through the exact same thing at your age" said uncle ben
"Yeah not exactly" Said Peter
"Peter you have to understand, just because your able to do something doesn't make it right, every action, there is a positive and negative reaction" said Uncle Ben
"So I finally stand up for myself and now I'm getting looked down for it, yeah that seems fair" said Peter
"Pete listen, When he was alive, your father always told me that with Great Power Comes Great Responsibility, just promise me you'll keep that in mind when your faced with his kind of situation" said Uncle Ben
"Alright Uncle Ben, so am I like grounded now or something" Said Peter
"No, no I'm gonna ground ya, I just want you to think about what we spoke about" said Uncle Ben
"Alright Uncle Ben" said Peter
"Goodnight son" said uncle ben
"Goodnight" said Peter
"By the way, you've been working out or something" asked Uncle Ben
"Yeah a little bit" said Peter
"Keep it up" said Uncle Ben
"Thanks" said uncle ben who then walked out of the room then Peter grabbed the notebook and started drawing again
"Oh Uncle Ben, if you only knew, alright now where was i" Peter said to himself.

Later that Night

Peter is in bed talking to himself as the TV is Playing in the background
"So I'm just calling If you wanted to go on a date Friday night, I thought maybe we could like go out to like a movie, why even have these powers If I can't use them to talk to a girl" Peter said to himself and a ad for a car dealerships starts conveniently
"Crazy Eddy" Peter said to himself before he falls asleep
