Prologue

Richard Parker aka Spider-Man awoke in the rubble that used to be Avengers Mansion, he attempted to get up but his entire body was damaged beyond relief
"Man that was not my best entrance" said Spider-Man
but most of all he was horrified by what he was seeing as his a lot of his friends and teammates dead on the ground such as Swordsman, Black Knight, and Captain Marvel with most of them ripped apart by the Goblin's soldiers or in Captain Marvel's case impaled and he ran through the destroyed building as the others fought through this destruction
"Iron Man" Spider-Man Screamed as he blasted down Goblin soldiers with his unibeam
"Spider-Man you're still alive" said Iron Man but it was clear that he wasn't in the best shape as his armor was covered in dust and scratches and was also falling apart at the arm and torso with tony's face being exposed
"Where's Black Widow" Spider-Man asked
"Her and Samurai are in the city, if you want to reach them then go" said Iron Man and Spider-Man followed suit taking down goblin soldiers as the does so
"Need to get to the city, hopefully I'm able to stop going there before any of this gets more crazy" said Spider-Man and Captain America well by his side
"Cap" Spider-Man stated
"Spider-Man Get out here while you still can, Run" said Captain America
"Can't focus on this right now, need to get to the crawler before it's too late" Spider-Man thought to himself as he ran through the falling apart building with Ant Man going giant in a attempt to hold it up
"Ant Man, what are you doing?" Spider-Man asked
"Giving you time, you started this mess so it's up to you to end it" said Ant Man before he's blasted by a Laser Cannon
"He's right, now I need to get to the city" said Spider-Man but he wasn't able to save everyone in the building before it explodes launching him across the ground and conveniently right next to the crawler so he jumped right in and drove away from the burning mansion shooting and mowing down Goblin soldiers as he does so trying to get to the city as fast as he can in hopes that he might survive but he's not trying to get his hopes up
"Why does it have to end like this Norman" Spider-Man said to himself before the crawler is shot down by a Goblin Soldier and Spider-Man has no choice but to crawl out of it with his bloody body dragging itself out of the destroyed vehicle so he runs the rest of the way there.

In the middle of the city however has become like hell as the entirety of the city is in ruins with the avengers and other heroes such as the X-Men fighting back against the goblin and his army
"Where's that blasted boyfriend of yours" said Wolverine
"I don't know, he should have made his way out of avengers mansion if he survived that is" said Black Widow
"Your a worrisome bunch and you talk too much" said Samurai as the three are fighting back but are slowly getting outnumbered by the minute
"Were being slaughtered out here" said Hawkeye
"I don't think you're trick arrows are going to help you get out of his" said Wolverine
"Now is that the time to make fun of each other" said Samurai
"Come on Richard, where are you" said Black Widow but then The Green Goblin finally makes his appearance
"Hoping that your lovers return? soon enough his face will be another dead one among thousands" said the goblin cackling
"Goblin" said Black Widow but she repeatedly shot him with her pistols but he just smacks her out of his way but she's saved by falcon who grabs her
"You all are fools!" said Goblin
"If you think nothing is going to stop you, then you're sorely mistaken" said Black Widow
"It matters to me not, need I remind you that I have become the being you see before you because of Spider-Man and thus I shall thank him by ending his life" said Goblin
"I don't think so!" Spider-Man Screamed as he appeared battered and broken from all that's happened
"About damn time" said Wolverine
"Everyone Go, I can handle this situation" said Spider-Man
"Your a fool if you think you can do this alone" screamed Samurai
"Norman's right, I turned him into the goblin and thus this is my fight and mine alone now all of you go" Spider-Man told them and they all eventually followed suit and headed into the nearby quinjet
"So" said the goblin
"This is where it all ends" said Spider-Man
"Evidently so" said The goblin
"Look I know you're angry at me for all I've done Norman but I'm not going to stand out and let you destroy a city and the entire world out of revenge" said Spider-Man
"You could have been one of the greatest minds of all time!, my right hand man if you wanted! but no, instead here you are, dressed in a halloween costume ready to die" said Goblin
"And to become a psychopath like you, I find that hard to believe so shall we end this" said Spider-Man
"Ready when you are Norman" said Spider-Man
"I'll see you in hell" said Goblin
"Very well then" said Spider-Man
Goblin and Spider-Man stood at opposite ends as the wind blew past slowly. Spider-man closed his fist, Goblin cracked his knuckles, smiling menacingly. In a flash Goblin appeared behind Spider-Man, taking the back of his head and smashing it into the ground, Goblin grunted as Wolverine's claws lodged into his back, goblin quickly tossed him away, Samurai slid in taking out his ankles, Fire spewed out of Goblin's mouth, Samurai dodging around, sliding underneath Goblin pulling Spider-Man out
"Your an idiot" Samurai said
Spider-Man chuckled, standing up "Heh, wouldn't be that first you've called me that"
Samurai dashed forward, throwing his sword into Goblins back, Spider-Man leaping over him taking Goblin's horns crashing his face into the ground
"It doesn't have to end like this Norman" He said
Smoke began to float off of Goblin as the ground cratered
"Samurai move!" Spider-man shouted
Samurai was launched back as Goblin arose covered in flame "I think it has too"
Spider-Man and Goblin locked hands, the flames burning through his suit and hands
"Look at you Parker..a fool, a weakling" Goblin said pulling Spider-Man up by his throat "This will be your end! Another dead hero among my carnage!" Goblin ripped the mask from his face "I wanna see your face when your light fades" Goblin said
Spider-Man struggled to pull Goblin's apart
"Hey..Norman..say hi to Emily for me" Spider-Man said pressing Black Widow's pistol to his chin pulling the trigger blood splatter as his body drops
Richard stood up holding his ribs "Sorry.." he fell forward, Black Widow ran to his aid, tearing his suit away discovering his broke ribs "They.. punctured..a lung..I can barely breathe"
Natasha rubbed his cheek, tears welling up in her eyes "Stay with me...please"
Samurai touching her shoulder "There's not enough time Nat he'd be dead by the time we get to a helicarrier..I'm sorry"
Richard reached out, touching her cheek, smiling, through a labored breath "I..love..you" his arm going limp as his eyes close

The survivors of the destruction of Avengers Mansion arrive to see the body of Richard Parker who sacrificed himself to end the goblin war, a funeral for Richard Parker Is held a day later and everyone was in attendance except the local news cause reasons during this Ben Parker: Richard's brother confronted everyone blaming all of them for the death of his brother
"It's all because of you and your stupid actions that cost my brother his life, all of this wouldn't have happened if he never met any of you especially you Romanoff, I may have blamed everyone else but I blame you for all of this" Ben said angrily
"Ben maybe we should just leave" said Ben's wife May and then ben broke down and started crying
"It's all their fault, it's all their fault" Ben said repeatedly as he and his wife left the funeral but what ben said now lingers in Natasha's head possibly forever.
