Chapter 24

Back in the City

Peter is escorting civilians out the city as best as he can
"Get to the subways now" Peter told them
"It's awesome to have you back Spider-Man" said one of the Civilians
"Thanks" said Peter when suddenly he's surrounded by goblin soldiers
"So you go from running from us to actually fighting back, that's actually impressive I'm not going to lie" said a Goblin soldier who then swung a sword at him but Peter flipped out the way even jumping over one of the soldiers and webbing up the sword and smacking the goblin soldier up the head with it
"Man that must have been painful" Peter stated as he them shot a web up and proceeded to kick the asses of every Goblin Soldier in the city even fighting them with Some armored SHIELD Agents
"We're trying to protect you but it seems like you can protect yourself" said The SHIELD Guard
"Thanks now can you handle the rest of the Goblin Soldiers, I have an appointment to make" said Peter who then jumped away finally making it to Oscorp.

Meanwhile

Natasha has snuck into Oscorp hoping to take down goblin once and for all due to all the trauma that him and his army have caused them for the past few weeks only to find a room full of the Oz Formula figuring out how Norman was able to stay alive after Richard shot him to death with one of her guns
"So This is how he was able to cheat death" said Natasha who then proceed to use there widows bytes to destroy the vials but in a way do she doesn't get bathed in it as she didn't want to end up transforming into a goblin herself but then boom
The goblin appeared behind her and flung her to the top of the tower
"So Here we are again, only this time your boyfriend isn't here to save you this time" said the Goblin
"You've always been a demon, you may have blamed Richard for your transformation but this has always been your true appearance" said Natasha
"Out of all the Avengers, you have always been the most useless out of all of them" said The Goblin who then flings her off the building intending to kill her but much to her surprise, she is saved by Peter who grabs her before she is able to hit the ground
"You alright?" Peter asked her as they descended to the ground
"I'll be fine but this isn't my fight, it's yours now go and kick his ass" Natasha told Peter as she placed her on the ground as Peter ran up the tower before launching himself up to the top
"Norman, you wanted me well here I am" said Peter
"At least we meet" said The Goblin
"Technically we've met before but this is the first time we're seeing each other in our new appearances Well for me it's new for you it's probably same old same old" Peter said him
"Enough of that excessive talking, you should have not existed as your father's legacy should have died with him" said The Goblin
"Is that how you feel about Harry?" Asked Peter and the goblin got pissed
"I've had enough from you boy, Time to end your wretched bloodline once and for all" said The Goblin
"Then Bring It On Mr Osborn" said Peter
"Do not call me that, I am not Norman Osborn, I am The Green Goblin" said the Goblin as his hands engulfed themselves in flames
"I think you need to hire a new PR Manager" said Peter
"I won't miss you after I kill you" said the goblin and then the two went at it, the rematch that had been years in the making albeit with someone else in the Spider-Man Costume.
