Chapter 12

"Okay I guess" said Peter and so the two exited the building and into a car that's nearby that converts itself into a aircraft
"Woh this is stuff straight out of a cartoon or a pulp sci-fi novel" said Peter and once again the masked figure said nothing
"Huh so I guess your the silent type" said Peter and the masked figure just stared at him
"Fair enough, I'll stop talking" said Peter
The two drove out of town and eventually left neo tech City and stopped at a old wood cabin in the middle of the Forest
"What is this place" Peter asked her
"A old SHIELD Safehouse" the masked figure finally spoke and told him
"Now you're talking, I thought you were like a female version of snake eyes" said Peter
"That doesn't make sense" said the Masked figure as the two enter the safehouse and she hands Peter a bag with some clean clothes
"Something tells me that you have a lot of questions" said the masked figure
"Yeah I do, specifically who are you?" Peter asked her and so she pushed a button on her mask which then retracted revealing that the woman had pale skin, Auburn Red Hair, and Emerald Green eyes
"Oh my god, you're Natasha Romanoff aka the black widow, one of the avengers" said Peter
"You know me" said Natasha
"I mean I know of you, I've never actually met you or any of the avengers in person but you being in front of me is a surprise but why would you help me, you don't even really know anything about me" said Peter
"Actually I know a lot about you then you think" said Natasha
"Wait you do but why?" asked Peter
"I'll tell you but first let me ask you this, what do you know about your parents" Natasha told Peter
"That they died, my aunt and uncle often told me that they were great people and what happened to them was a tragedy that they would never forget" Peter told her
"Well but what do you know about your father?" Asked Natasha
"That he was nothing more than a Scientist" said Peter
"Well Peter he was more than that, your father was Spider-Man" said Natasha
"Wait Spider-Man's my Dad, I'm Spider-Man's son" Peter said with a shocked expression and Natasha nodded
"Why else would the Goblin's forces would be coming after you" said Natasha
"That's the part I don't get, the goblin is dead so why would he be coming after me" said Peter
"I thought so to but somehow he survived and know he's hunting anyone who has ties to your father, that's why he had one of his soldiers pretend to be a mugger and kill your aunt and uncle, he wants no loose ends" said Natasha
"But what about the guy with the flame sword, the one who was trying to kill me" said Peter
"The Hobgoblin, The Goblin's lead general in his army, many people have held that identity and now this one knows more about you then I thought" said Natasha
"So much exposition, I feel like I'm in a RPG" said Peter
"This is no joke Peter, You are a target even with your powers, you can't face him" said Natasha
"Wait, how do you know about that?" Asked Peter
"Consider me your guardian angel, I'm been keeping an eye on you ever since I left you in your aunt and uncle's care" said Natasha
"You were the one that brought me there, I was told my mom was the one who left me in there care, why would they lie to me" said Peter
"Your aunt and uncle told you the truth Peter, I know that because the reason I left you there is that I'm your mother" Natasha told him and Peter was shocked by that revelation, he thought that his parents were dead this whole time and while this was true for his dad but to hear that not only was his mom alive but she was an avenger was a surprise to someone like him
"If you're my mother then why did you leave me in their care, why would you abandon me?" Peter asked her
"I know you must be upset but I was scared that I was going to lose you like how I lost your father so I left you with your aunt and uncle so you could have a normal life, away from all of this, a normal childhood" said Natasha
"You were just scared, I guess that's understandable since a mother's bond with a child is deeper than any connection any person could have but they told me that you promised that you'd come back and you never did but you come back now, after they got murdered" said Peter who then started to tear up as his emotions started getting the best of him And Natasha hugged him knowing how sad he probably was after the death of his aunt and uncle but also knowing now knowing that he's not alone
"I'm sorry Peter, I'm sorry for abandoning you," said Natasha.
