Heart its engine and its fuel
It's thunderous knocking on the roof
It's tip toeing trying not to walk on glass, It's a wicked smile Hidden in a envelope And the trying not to let go on the rope,
That holds you together from droping
Down from the earth in something
Dark and censored,
The sound of a beating heart is the car
Crashing into another and the alarm,
That decided to bother
It's the lie that you try to hide knowing you can't hide,
The sound of a beating heart is
sometimes the feeling flutter of a butterfly that's not always pleasant but
Deadly.
