-- Friday, 8:00am --

I can't be bothered, I'm probably gonna be late anyways. Y/N thought. She overslept today, her mum had left for work earlier, so she wasn't there to wake her up on time.

She walked to school at an average pace, but on a normal day, it takes her around 15-20 minutes to arrive to school. She was definitely gonna be late.

The roads were really busy, people rushing past each other, random children going to their schools, the normal things. The tired girl just looked ahead and was thinking of how the day would go by today.

Today was the day of the party. On the outside, Y/N looked as if she could care less about the party, but deep down inside, she had some sort of excitement in her. Of course, all her friends knew that she was excited, because as it was said before, once she would go there, she would never wanna get out.

"Eomma, I don't like school, please don't send me there!" one kid cried while he was getting dragged by his mum. Damn, poor boy. Y/N thought. "Stop crying Jihoon-ah, I'll buy you something nice after school, hm?" the boys mum said as they were walking away.

-- 17 minutes later --

No one's out here... the girl thought as she was out of breath. She decided to run, just a bit. She couldn't handle the trouble she was probably going to get in to, but she was still late.

Her head shifted to the other direction.

She heard someone whistling. The boy was walking behind her. It was Na Jaemin. Just like every other bad boy, he was of course gonna be late to school.

Y/N quickly turned her face forward again but then heard the boy call her name.

"Y/N...?" he said a bit unsure if that was her name. The girl turned her head around and the boy smiled a bit when he knew he got her name right. She had never interacted with Jaemin.

He kinda expected her to be squealing and giggling and you know, because... obvious reasons. He thinks every girl at school are just like one another, but eh, he's wrong.

The girl just simply looked at him though, finding it weird since he had never talked to her before.

She raised her eyebrows a bit before saying, "What?"

"Nothing, just uh.. wanted to see if that was your name. You're the one that fell the other day right?" he said, feeling somehow relaxed since she wasn't going crazy over him. It's an everyday thing for the 17 year old boy, that's why.

"Oh... yeah I did, why?" she asked. "No you looked familiar, that's why." he said quickly. They both stayed quiet for a few seconds before the boy spoke.

"Are you going to the party?" he asked. Why is he suddenly speaking with me as if we've spoken before...? she thought and realised the boy was waiting for an answer. She turned her attention back on him.

"Hm? Yeah I'm going... I'm guessing you are too?" she said. The boy hummed in response. "The only annoying thing is when girls ruin the mood by following me and doing all sorts of weird stuff." he said and sighed. He doesn't enjoy the attention? What I saw the other day says otherwise. The girl thought and wanted to say something but didn't know if it would offend him.

"I saw you the other day though... I think you made some hearts flutter." she said, trailing off at the last part. "Oh, that... yeah, I enjoy getting admired, but don't enjoy when I keep getting asked for my number." he said and smirked whilst scratching his nape. The girl just nodded slowly.
