Your POV:
'I do plan on walking around here'? I thought about what the boy said before I looked back to see that he was gone. He wasn't beside the store anymore. I turned my gaze to my four friends, who also seemed to be looking where I was.
"Hey Y/N!" Yerin shouted and gestured me to come over. I slipped my phone into my pocket and made my way towards them. As I got closer, I could see that they were all trying not to laugh by pressing their lips together. Taeyong and Doyoung kept sipping onto their refreshments and Mark, being Mark, made it so obvious that he wasn't trying to burst out of laughter.
"Come on guys, you really don't believe that dumbass, do you?!" I questioned, rolling my eyes and crossing my arms. I quickly glanced over to see where the hell that boy disappeared off to. Like, he was literally right there?!
I looked back down at the four sitting down. They looked at each other and shook their heads, "What are you talking about?" Yerin asked with confusion. "The diamond ring thing..?" I answered and saw her mouth turn into an o.
"Oh right.." she paused and started giggling with Mark. "Come on now, you don't actually-"
"No, that's so cute! I knew you would start liking him!" she blurted out blatantly. What?!?
"What?! No! I don't like him oh my gosh!!" I defended and the rest of them starting awing.
"Sure~" Mark spoke and I bit my tongue to prevent myself from speaking. I had enough of these dumb shits.
"You know, I'm gonna go home now-" I said, pointing behind me. I cut myself off when I saw someone walking towards us with the corner of my eye. My eyes gradually grew wider when I saw who it was.
At this point, my friends turned their heads around and looked back at me, quietly mumbling stuff amongst themselves. Where the fuck did he come from?!
"Hello-"
"Go away. Turn back around." I instantly cut him off and pointed the direction he came from.
He looked at me sternly and dramatically put a hand over his chest, "Ouch. Not glad to see me?" he questioned, raising one brow. I quickly looked at him up and down, "Not really." I said, causing him to gasp. Pft.
"Aw, did Y/N tell you where we were?" Yerin asked, making Jeno take his severe gaze off of me and onto the girl sitting down. He put his hands into his pocket and smiled, "No, I was actually outside and saw you guys." he said.
And just like that, they all started talking. I was the only one who was standing up awkwardly and I just watched them all, with crossed arms.
What was his problem? Honestly...
I looked to my side since I spotted some random group of friends messing around, laughing and having fun. They looked around our age, but they didn't seem familiar or anything.
"Y/N, why don't you sit down?" Mark asked, moving over to make a space for me, squashing Yerin in process.
I gave him a look, glancing at everyone who's eyes were on me. I gulped before uncrossing my arms and seating myself in the space Mark so kindly made for me.
I sat down uncomfortably, placing both of my hands on my thighs. My eyes travelled to the boys in front, Taeyong harshly looking away from... me? He turned his gaze to something beside him, sipping his drink.
I looked down at my lap once I felt those eyes on me.
Those eyes.
The ones in front of me.
