Your POV:
Here we were. Sitting in some park for the past five minutes. Absolutely empty. Not even the typical kid who would be on the swings was here. I was owing this time to Jeno. One, because of the 'him going broke because of me' and two, because I smacked him 'so hard that it hurt' and ran away. What? I was just having some fun. But most of that fun was turned into some unimaginable adventure because of him.
He still wanted to go to the park. I couldn't say no, forcefully because of him. The walk to the park was hell though.
He would throw the, "I make you blush." at me a few times, again, to piss me off. I just rolled my eyes because he was literally proving my point to call him a lunatic. My silence made him think that it was true. Pft, as if. But then he suddenly spoke making me snap out of my thoughts.
"You know, we should hang out like this oft-"
"No." I immediately cut him off and crossed my arms.
He turned his body so that he could face me. "You're finding it fun though, aren't you?" he asked, swinging one arm over the bench we were sitting on. I turned my head to look at him. "Finding what fun?"
"This." he simply said. I let out a small chuckle. "Let me correct you. Bowling was fun." I said. The boy ruffled his hair and smirked. "Exactly. You found bowling fun." he said making me sigh.
"Oh, and when I kept smacking you, that was fun too." I said letting out a chuckle. He turned his face to the side and poked his cheek with his tongue before moving a bit closer to me.
"And when I had you trapped and feeling tense because of me, that was fun too." his raspy voice said, making the hairs on my back stand. He moved away and snapped his fingers in front of me, seeing that what he just said had an affect on me.
"Yah.. that wasn't necessary." I said, remembering the moment visibly. "Yah.. that wasn't necessary." he mocked. The boy chuckled and carried on looking ahead of him. Ugh, I was literally freezing! This whole park idea of his was totally random. 'Jeno' and 'park' doesn't even mix well together. I kept trying to pull my skirt down, but that was useless as it was too short to even cover my whole knee.
Jeno noticed me, I tried not to make it obvious but I was so close to getting up and running away, into my warm bed. "You are cold." he said. "Hm?" I hummed, trying to act as if I wasn't doing anything.
"You're cold, aren't you?" he said and laughed quietly. I rolled my eyes and nodded. "It's freezing! I'm going!" I said confidently before getting up. Why would he just wanna sit on a park bench and stare at the ugly view in front?
I started shivering a bit now as I kept walking forward, feeling the cold breeze brush against my skin. "Yah! You're going home?" he shouted as he ran up to me. I nodded my head without looking at him and assumed he saw it. "Let me walk you home." he said and a split second later he was standing beside me.
"Yah, how fast do you run? I noticed when you were chasing me." I asked with a questioning look and he laughed. "Babe, I'm probably faster than you and that's all you need to know." he said emphasizing the 'you'. Ugh, why do I feel like this? I don't wanna think of weak.. because I'm not. Around him? No.. I just feel intimidated by him sometimes. Whatever it was, the second he spoke I had butterflies in my stomach. I don't wanna fall into his trap whenever he calls me his little nicknames, or just in general.
"Hm.. I don't know about that one, but you are fast. Not faster than me though." I said and showed him a little wink at the last part of the sentence. "Wanna try it out?" he asked getting all competitive. I couldn't help but laugh at him. He was literally ready to race with me. I raised my eyebrows at him and mumbled a small, 'Sure'.
