-- 5:30pm --

"Ok, this is actually not looking bad." the boy said lifting the paper up and holding it in front of him. Y/N hummed and quickly breathed in and out. She couldn't believe what happened at school today. It was gonna be even more awkward with Jeno. He didn't really do any work for the project, neither did Y/N, but she did a bit more work than Jeno.

"So are we done?" Jeno asked with boredom written on his face. "I guess... Y/N can I take the project so I can add a bit more to it?" Minyoung asked. Y/N nodded without hesitation. "Yeah sure whatever... I don't want to keep it." she said.

"Y/N-ah!!" yelled her mum and Y/N immediately walked out her room to see what her mum was calling her for. "Yess?" she said. "I made food for you and your friends! Call them down." she whispered the last part. "Eomma, I told you to not make food for them..." she whispered back. Her mum shook her head and motioned her to go call them. Y/N sighed quietly and stood on the last step of the stairs.

"Yah, come down! There's food for you!" she shouted and heard the boys movement, meaning they were coming down. She sat on the stool whilst her mum plated kimchi jigae she made for the three.

The boys could smell the delicious food and sat down next to Y/N. Hah, I can tell he likes the smell of the food but he always has the same expression. The girl thought whilst she secretly glanced at Jeno.

"Here you go. Eat as much as you want." the woman said and smiled at the boys. The boys smiled back at her, they loved how caring she was.

"Thank you auntie." Minyoung bowed before he started eating. Jeno also thanked her. "Naee, it's no problem!" the woman said.

"Y/N you never told me about Minyoung and Jeno. How long have you been friends for?" she asked as she started washing some dishes. The three stopped chewing their food and looked at each other. "Uh we're just project partners, we don't really hang out." Y/N simply said whilst looking at her mum, who's back was turned.

"Oh, I was gonna say, I didn't know my daughter had such handsome friends!-" the woman teasingly said before Y/N cut her off by coughing. All three of them looked at the girl then the boys smiled at her mum, thanking her for the compliment.

"Eomma, don't say that! That's so embarrassing." Y/N whispered as she got up from the stool and went beside her mum. Her mum laughed. If only she knew... Y/N thought whilst sitting back down, referring to how she is with Jeno.

"Don't mind what she just said." she awkwardly said to the boys, mostly looking at Minyoung. Jeno noticed how the girl couldn't make eye contact with him, so he carried on looking at her for a few more seconds.

Is he looking at me again? the girl thought as she could literally feel his gaze on her. Maybe he's looking at something behind me... she thought before quickly looking at the boy herself. She was right. He was staring at her. The boy bit his bottom lip before looking at his food again.

She felt her heart beat fast once she saw him looking at her like that. She also carried on eating. What the fuck? Why is he always looking at me? she thought whilst putting the food in her mouth.

"Do you want something to drink?" Y/Ns mum asked as she turned the water off. The boys looked at the woman. "I'll have water please." Minyoung said. "Same." Jeno also said.

She went to get them some water. "Y/N do you want water too?" she asked. "No." she replied back.

Beep... beep... beep...

The threes phones all vibrated with a text. They looked at their phones and realised they all got a text at the same time. Y/N frowned her eyebrows a bit while reading 'Unknowns' message.
