Riley's P.O.V

I walk into my house and enter the kitchen and see my mom sitting on the dining table.

Mrs: Raymond: "Hey Riley, how was school?"

Riley: "Hi mom."

Mrs. Raymond: "So, how was school"?

Riley: "Umm... It was okay, I guess."

I take a seat across from my mom.

Riley: "So mom, you told me this morning you needed to talk to me about something."

Mrs. Raymond: "Actually yes, it's kind of important."

Riley: "What's wrong mom??"

Mrs. Raymond: "Well I need to level for a business trip for the next 2 weeks, which means you'll be alone and I really don't want you staying alone for the next 2 weeks... So I was talking to Derek (Emily's Dad) and he thought it would be a good idea for you to move there now so I don't have to worry about you being alone and-"

Riley: "Wait a second mom, your saying I'm going to have to stay at Emily's house for a whole 2 weeks? You can't be serious."

Mrs. Raymond: Look Riley. I know you and Emily aren't the best of friends, but this will give you a chance really bond with her and you know... become... at least try to get along."

Riley: "But mom-"

Mrs. Raymond: "Please, please, pretty please."

Riley: "Fine, I'll go."

Mrs. Raymond: "Thank you so much... Now you can start packing your leaving tomorrow afternoon."

I walk out of the room and go upstairs to my room, I wonder how Emily reacts when she find out.

Emily's P.O.V.

Emily: "But dad why does she have to come here, she's so... I mean... I really don't have any words to describe her."

Mr. Beaton: "Look Em, I know you both don't get along but I've made my decision and it's final. Besides it not like you have to share a room with her, she'll be in her room that she is going to get when I get married to her mom, so you don't need to worry about anything."

Emily: "Except for the fact that'll have to see her face everyday," I mumble.

Mr. Beaton: "You say something?"

Emily: "No," I say quickly, and I storm out of the living room, why does everything bad happen to me?
