Chapter 16 - Saying Yes!

It's Monday morning and for the first time I'm happy to go to school. I hadn't talked with James since Saturday night, since Michelle and i were hanging out and honestly she's not that bad, she's actually pretty nice--when she's not with those bitches at school.

I get our of bed and brush my teeth than take a shower. I didn't know why but I wanted to look good for school. Maybe for James... But also because I have to act less like old Riley in front of everyone. I wore my high waisted jeans with a fitted floral crop top, that kind of showed my skin... Who am I kidding... I showed a lot of my skin, but honestly I didn't really care.

I reach school just 10 minutes the bell rang and I was walking to class, but as soon as I pass the janitors closet some one pulls me in and pins me on to wall.

I look up and see... James.

Riley: "James... What are you doing?"

He had my armed pinned to the wall, above my head.

James: "Well... I just wanted to talk you."

Riley: "So you decide the best way to talk to me is in a janitors closet..?"

James: "Yeah... I mean, at least we're alone," he smirks.

Riley: "True.."

We stare at each other before he kisses me. We kissed for about 5 minutes until I heard the school bell ring. I try pulling away from him but he doesn't let go, and honestly I don't want to either.

Riley: "J-James.. T-he be-l-l," I say through the kisses.

He finally lets go and asks me to meet him after school at his house and I agree. He pecks my lips one last time before I rush to class.

I was walking to James house since I promised him that'll meet him.
I walk to the front door and ring the bell and a tall, blond haired girl opens the door.

I'm a bit confused because I've seen James sisters before and she's not one if them. She says hi and tells me to come in and as soon as I do, I see James walking down the stairs.

James: "Hey, you're finally here."

He comes and gives me a huge smile to the girl as we walks towards the kitchen.

James: "Come on, let's go upstairs."

He grabs my hand and I walk behind him while he leads me to his room.

Riley: "Um... James.. Who's that girl downstairs?"

James: "Oh that's just Chelsea, she's my cousin."

Riley: "Oh."

I have a seat on James bed and ask him,

"So why exactly did you want me to come here?"

James: "Well... I need to ask you something really important," I get a bit worried.

He takes a seat beside me and takes my hand.

"Riley... Will you be my... Girlfriend?"

As soon as James asks if I wanted to be his girlfriend I felt like screaming and jumping around like a kid. I have waited for this since forever.

I crash my lips against his. After a few seconds, we pull away.

"So I guess that's a yes?" James smirks, and I lock lips with him again.

James: "And now that your my girlfriend, I'm going to be your date for your mom's wedding, right?"

I nod in joy. I can't wait for the wedding.

Dear readers,

I am extremely sorry about not updating. I've been so busy lately and I just couldn't find the time.

I was planning on updating yesterday but it was actually my birthday and I got really busy.

Sorry for the short chapter... I'm actually in math class and I just finished my test so I got some spare time and wrote a chapter.

But I promise the next chapter will be long and I'll try my best to post it either tonight or tomorrow morning.
