Chapter 32: Reunited

Riley's P.O.V.

Ring

I hear the doorbell ring and the first thing that comes to my mind is who it could be since everyone was busy.

I open the door and I can't believe who it is.

"Hi"

Present

James? No. I'm probably just imagining this. James couldn't be here, he didn't even know where I was. This has actually happened to me many time. I see him everywhere and when I walk towards him, he just disappears. It's weird, I know.

I'm about to close to door but it stops half way and see a hand stopping it. What a second. Could this be real?

"Riley wait", I open the fully and take a step closer to him. "Is that really you James?" "Yes it is Riley".

I don't know what got over me but I quickly wrap my arms around his neck and tightly hug him like my life depended on it. I feel him wrap his arms around my waist and his hot breath over the side of my neck while his lip lightly touching it.

"I missed you so much", I hear him whisper against the side of my neck and placing small gentle kisses. You have no idea how much I've missed his touch and his smell of the cologne he always uses.

We stay like that for a few minutes until I finally realize what I'm doing. I pull always, lightly pushing him back. "I'm sorry", I whisper while looking down at my feet. Before the awkwardness become even more awkward he says "can I come in"?

Should I? I mean I'd get in so much trouble, but I really want to. You know what? Fuck this. My moms not even here, besides I'm done following her orders all the time.

"Sure", I say with no emotion whatsoever.

We both take a seat on the sofa. Being seated right across from each other.

"How'd you know I was here", I finally mange to say. "I have my ways", a smirk forms on his lip. Great, it hasn't even been two minutes and he is already acting like that again.

"Why did you leave Riley". I can't tell him. Can I?
"I had my reasons".

"Look Riley-" "I think you should leave James"
"What? But why? I came all the way here for a reason".

"I'm sorry but whatever that reason is I don't want to hear it", as much as I love him, he rejected me, not once but twice.

"I don't even get why you're here. Shouldn't you be with Amanda, your girlfriend". I raise my eyebrows and cross my arms, waiting for his reply.

"Look, all I want is five minutes of your time to explain everything and then if you still want me to leave, I will", come on Riley, just give him a chance.

Are you crazy? he broke your heart.

"Fine, but only five minutes", I let him in and we take a seat beside each other but still keeping distance.

"So what is it that you want to explain"?

"Okay... Remember the first time we had... Um" "I know, just continue", I snap at him because I want him to hurry up. "Well, after you left Amanda came and...

He explained everything. I couldn't believe that Amanda could snoop that low. I can't believe I was mad at James this whole time when all he was trying to do was protect me. I feel so bad that I yelled at him numerous times and because of me the girls wrecked his car.

James P.O.V.

"...and when I finally got rid of those pictures... You were gone". He moved in closer to me and took my hands in his. "I've never stopped loving you Ri, you have no idea how I felt when you were gone. I look everywhere for you and I feared that I'd never see you again... Please Riley, please forgive me. I-I love you".

I couldn't take it anymore, I move closer and smash my lips to his. He was surprised at first but quickly kiss back. You have no idea how good it feel to kiss him again. I wrap my arm around his neck, while his one arm was around my waist, bring me to his lap, and the other one behind my head pulling me closer.

I pull away, but quickly regret it since his lips felt so good on mine but I needed to say something to his. With our foreheads touching, our lips only a few centimeter away and his hands caressing my cheek, I couldn't think of a more better position to be in while is said...

"I love you too James", we finally confessed our love for each other. But there's something else I've got to tell him. "James... There's something you should know", a confuse look appears on his face as he wait for me to tell him.

"I'm pregnant".
