Death, the figure of all that's lost,

Come, tell me of existence, of life and death's cost.

What lies beyond this mortal coil,

When my life here is no more toil?

What secrets do you keep,

That I may eternally sleep?

Do I find peace in your embrace,

Or a lifetime of endless chase?

Tell me of the promise of life beyond,

Of a life where I am never gone.

Do I find solace in the afterlife,

Or is it a journey of eternal strife?

Death, you are the one who knows,

What lies beyond the mortal foes.

Share with me your secrets,

And give me the answers I seek.
