You were my Caesar and I was your Brutus
We ruled the world together with our cunning and our ruthlessness
You were my friend and ally, my mentor and my guide
But you became a tyrant who corrupted all you touched

You were my sweet sorrow and I was your bitter joy
We loved each other fiercely with our passion and our loyalty
You were my heart and soul, my lover and my mate
But you betrayed me cruelly when you gave your love away

You were my burning ice and I was your freezing fire
We fought each other fiercely with our hatred and our desire
You were my enemy and rival, my tormentor and my foe
But you still haunted me daily with your presence in my mind

You were my living death and I was your dying life
We killed each other slowly with our poison and our knife
You were my doom and downfall, my destroyer and my end
But you still mattered to me more than anyone else ever did.
