In a world where Big Brother watches all,
Where truth is lies and war is peace and love is hate;
Where thoughtcrime is the greatest sin of all,
And freedom is a dream that none can sate;

There lives a man who dares to think and feel,
Who seeks a way to break the iron chain;
He finds a girl who shares his rebel zeal,
And hopes to find a place where they can reign.

But soon they fall into the Party's trap,
And face the horrors of the Room 101;
They learn to love Big Brother and his clap,
And lose their souls and selves till all is done.

O 1984, thou bleak and grim dystopia,
Thou warn us of the dangers of utopia.
