Crickets chirped and hopped through the grass as you walked along the stone path beside them, and you hummed along with their nightly song as you strolled into the Coliseum. They leaped between the stones and the branches on the ground, and a couple hopped away from you as you passed through the entrance of the large arena.

You saw Link standing in the center of the stone floor, practicing a few moves with his sword, He heard your footsteps as you strolled in behind him, and he turned his head as his light blue eyes glanced back at you.

"I thought you were at Rito Village." He quietly commented, returning his attention back to his sword, but he still listened to you as you walked passed him to where his things were.

"I was," You answered, placing your bag down off to the side before you grabbed your scabbard and drew your sword from it. "I was just bringing Amalia and Kai home. I'm going to stay the night in the Castletown with you and Minken, since we have errands early in the morning."

"Did you enjoy your day off?" He asked, and you smiled a bit and gave him a nod. "I was just wondering," You joined his side and watched him as he swung his sword around some more, and he stopped for a moment when he looked up to you. "I heard Rhoam talking to you this morning when you dropped by, something about you taking more than just a day off," He paused, but then he quickly added, "I didn't mean to eavesdrop, I just wanted to see if everything was okay."

"Everything's fine. I'm not going to take any more days off, especially now that we're going to have to change our strategy when Ganon strikes." You reassured him, and he seemed relieved with your decision, at the same time his anxiety spiked again remembering what the champions has told in the previous days. "I only took the day off since ten years ago yesterday, my sister was killed at the hands of Astor."

"I'm sorry." He breathed, and you aimed your sword at him, signaling for him to duel with you.

"I really just needed a day to process. And I think I'll feel a lot better once we've defeated Ganon, which we will." You smiled at him, and he did the same and nodded. Trying to share your confidence.

"Since your sister was the last queen, that means she held the Triforce, right?" He asked, and you nodded your head. "So, if she were here, would we be able to defeat Ganon easier?"

"With her power at its peak, I have no doubt. I always wonder how things would be different if she was still here. But, I have to remind myself not to get too caught up in all the 'what if's'. We're going to do what we can to protect Hyrule from Ganon."

"Do you think that we could fail?" Link asked, and you looked away as his sword lightly clashed against yours, and you allowed him to walk you backwards. "The champions said that in that other world, Zelda and I were amongst the few people that lived through it. And even at that, we had to go through it again."

"Well, I suppose I can't deny that there is a possibility of that happening to us. But now that we know, we can adjust our strategy." You whirled around and pushed him away, and he stumbled back to stay on his feet. "I'm only worried it will put more pressure on Zelda. Especially since she isn't exactly speaking with her father right now."

"Did they say what had awakened her power in that world?" Link asked, and you shrugged. "Maybe if we can figure out what did it then, we can try to replicate the situation and help her to awaken her powers earlier."

"That's not a bad idea," You remarked, and he grinned proudly at your approval. "Hopefully the champions can remember if she told them. But hey, maybe we could hold a meeting tomorrow in the evening and you can ask them."

"Me? But you're the one who usually takes charge of things like that."

"But you came up with the idea. Besides, it could be good for you to work on sharpening your leadership skills." You offered him a reassuring smile, but you could quickly tell the thought of being the head of an important meeting made him nervous. "I wouldn't make you do it if you weren't comfortable."
