The sunlight of the late afternoon beamed down onto Gerudo Town, shining into the windows and archways that were in way of it. One of the windows was just a few feet above a large bed, one that was draped in silk sheets and topped with many pillows at the headboard. The top sheet outlined a figure, one that the emerald eyes of the Gerudo Chief had been watching all day. There had been no movement, aside from the slow rising and falling of the former queen's chests when she breathed.

Urbosa was tired. It was visible in dark circles beneath her eyes, in the heaved breaths she occasionally released, and even in her posture. She had been hunched in an armchair off to the side of the small suite, leaning over against her knees but still managing to keep her eyes on Amirah. The nurses that had been coming by every so often to check on her confirmed she would be fine. But Urbosa worried more with each second that her friend lay still.

Finally, as she was sinking into a daze, Urbosa heard a quiet groan come from Amirah, and her eyes clicked back to her sleeping form in an instant. Amirah shifted a bit, letting her head fall to her right side and towards Urbosa. Her eyes opened, but she didn't seem to know nor care where she was for a moment. She only stared at Urbosa.

"Amirah," Urbosa whispered, her voice shaky and hoarse. "I'm going to get the nurse, I'll be right back." The chief practically leapt from her chair and hurried to the exit, immediately calling for assistance from the medical staff as she hurried off. Amirah managed to sit up slightly as she adjusted to her surroundings, trying to process what had happened the previous night.

All she could think was how she felt rested and yet so exhausted at the same time.

"I'm here, your highness." A nurse walked into the room with Urbosa following close behind, and the woman placed her small bag of supplies on the bed by Amirah's feet. She clicked it open and grabbed a thermometer from it. "Open your mouth."

She did as the nurse said, and allowed her to place the item on her tongue. Urbosa stood by her side, gently feeling her forehead with the back of her hand.

"She's still so warm," Urbosa sighed, moving her hand to place it on her friend's shoulder. "How is her progression? She's recovering at the same pace, right?"

"Based on her temperature," The nurse began, taking the tool from Amirah's tongue. "The malice is still wearing her down. Especially considering the fact that she has not been sleeping properly as of late, it will take likely a few days to just get her back on her feet. By then, you'll be able to take her back to Hyrule Castle."

"If she's going to be here for longer, I wish to write to Rhoam with an update on her condition." Urbosa folded her arms, and the nurse nodded and she packed her things away. "Thank you. I will call for you again in a few hours once she's eaten." The woman bowed to Urbosa before taking her leave, and the chief simply looked back down at the former queen. "I'm so glad you're alright, Mira."

"Urbosa," Amirah began, her words quiet and slightly raspy. "What happened...?" Urbosa didn't answer, only looking away to avert her gaze, but Amirah went on. "I don't remember anything after... after I saw..." She paused herself and gasped when she saw you walk into the room, holding a tray with soup and some special tea for her. "_____."

"Amirah," You stopped for a moment, feeling nervous when your eyes met with hers. You took a deep breath and continued towards the bed. You set the tray down near her feet, and then you looked back at her; she was still staring at you, still as she silently asked herself again if she was dreaming. You glanced to Urbosa, who was obviously averting your gaze. She was fixated on the former queen. "I-I don't really know what to say, I..."

She held her hand out to you, and you reached out and placed yours in hers. You could see her surprised face change as she became visibly emotional, She pulled you into an embrace, wrapping her arms around you once you were closer to her, and you did the same as you felt somewhat relieved. She took a few deep breaths, getting used to the feeling of having you in her arms again.
