The brightness of the moon glowed above the kingdom of Hyrule, continuing to rise as it passed the countless stars that shined over the horizon. The sky settled in darkness as it grew closer to the deepest hour of night, and by now, most of the kingdom had gone to sleep.
Though, you were excluded from the majority.
You had perched yourself on the top of a tall, stone pillar that stood in the snow of the Hebra, and you were down on one knee as you carefully eyed the Ice Talus that roamed the area. You gripped your bow tightly as you drew a bomb arrow back with the string, and you aimed your shot carefully.
You waited for a moment as a breeze of wind passed you, but when it calmed, you took it as your cue and fired the arrow.
The arrow exploded on impact with the beast, and you quickly leaped off of the pillar and glided down towards it to finish the job. You landed on its head as you drew your claymore, and you looked behind you at the ore that stuck out from its body. You lifted your weapon above your head before slamming it down onto the rock, and the Talus stumbled around a bit. You started attacking it repeatedly, despite its best efforts to knock you off.
After several more hits, it finally managed to throw you off, but you were prepared to catch yourself with wind. You fell onto the ground behind it, and you swiftly replaced your sword with your bow, and you aimed another bomb arrow at the rock. After shooting, you flipped backwards and formed a wind shield around you to protect yourself from the blow.
You used the power from that shield to lift you up into the air, and you fell back onto the beast's head. You reached back and gripped the hilt of your claymore, but you stopped yourself when you felt rumbling beneath you. The Talus leaned forward, and just as it jerked back, you leaped into the air to avoid getting thrown off again.
You pulled your sword from its scabbard and locked your eyes onto the rock beneath you, and you raised your sword over you as you fell. You forcefully slammed your sword into the ore, and the entire beast poofed into nothing but minerals and purple dust.
You landed in the snow, and all of the special ores landed around you. You pushed yourself up and brushed the snow off of you, and you took a deep breath before you began collecting them.
A growl from behind you perked your ears up, and you glanced back to see a red bokoblin standing in between a couple of the trees. You smiled and engulfed your fist in fire before aiming your arm at it, and you blasted it with a fireball. It poofed into purple dust much like the Talus did, but before you could go back to collecting the ores, you saw more monsters walk out from the trees.
Several bokoblins and moblins of all colors began marching out from the forest, and you rose up and fully turned around to face them. You noticed one of the golden moblins carried a bomb barrels, and the bokoblins all carried bats and spears. A couple of the moblins even had royal broadswords.
You fell back onto your hands and threw your feet out in front of you, spinning in a circle to swing your legs around. Fire shot from your feet and shot in a wave towards the small army coming towards you. It was strong enough to wipe the front row of reds and blues out, and once your feet were back on the ground, you drew your bow and aimed fire arrows at them.
You launched the arrows towards the silver monsters that were getting a little too close to you, and since the arrows alone weren't enough to take them down, you switched out for your sword so you could fight them melee.
You had focused on them so much, you forgot about the golden ones that were still approaching. You slayed a silver moblin, and it poofed into purple and black smoke. The smoke hardly has time to fade before a bomb barrel flew through it, and you didn't have enough time to react as it came hurdling towards you.
