Revali's angered gaze softened as he watched you walk towards him, and the pain of his injury was washed away when he felt his head spin at the realization it was really you. It just didn't make any sense.

"Revali," You reached out to him, but he scooted away from you and returned to glaring at you as he pulled his wing to his chest. "Please let me help you."

"No."

"But you're hurt."

"Because of you."

He tried to push himself up, but after a moment of struggling, he accepted that he was too weak and fell back into the snow.

"I just wanted to talk to you." You sighed and folded your arms as you looked away from him, and he scoffed as he shot you a glance.

"Just wanted to talk to me." He scoffed. "You come to my village unannounced, you hurt my warriors, and you try to invade into my life. This has been such a lovely conversation."

"I wouldn't have had to come here and do any of this if you'd ever get out of your own stubborn head and just listen!" You snapped, and he was taken back by your sudden frustration with him. "I know you're angry. But are you really just going to trap yourself here forever?"

"Anything to keep Amirah and the others off my back!" He hissed as he flipped back over and tried once more to push himself up, and he finally made it to his feet. He brushed the snow off of his wings and chest before turning his head back to look at you once more. "You made a mistake coming here. It'd be best if you didn't come back."

He flapped his wings a few times as he ran before he lifted himself up and flew out of the outpost, and you tried to chase him.

"Revali! Your wing!" You called, but he didn't listen and only continued flying out towards Hebra Mountain. You thought about trying to test your new ability to fly after him, but with the blizzard only getting heavier, you knew you wouldn't be able to. So you rushed out of the outpost through the doors and almost immediately found your bow.

You looked out towards the silhouette of the mountain you could see through the fog and snow, and Revali was already out of sight. But you knew he wouldn't be able to fly long with his wing injured so badly.

As you hurried away from the village and after the Rito Champion, you considered some of the things your sister and the other champions had mentioned before you left the castle. Mipha had warned you of the defense that Revali had created to protect the village. Daruk told you about the last time he saw Revali, just a few years after the Calamity.

Amirah had even mentioned the fact that he stormed out after the celebration she held once Ganon was defeated, and this mention was followed by a comment of Link's about how arrogant Revali was. You were aware of how difficult he was, but it was more of a challenge than you initially thought it would be.

After a while of running, you made it to the stable, where you stopped for a moment to catch your breath. You looked out towards the mountain, and you could see a blur of blue fighting against the wind near the other side of Lake Totori.

You started heading in that direction, and you kept your eyes locked onto Revali in case he changed direction or even fell out of the sky from his wing injury. Though if he knew you were watching him fall, he'd probably hate you even more.

Because your eyes were focused entirely on Revali, you didn't notice the group of Rito warriors that were watching you chase Revali from their posts at the edge of the Village. They aimed their bows at you and drew their arrows, eyes narrowing as they watched you run.

One of them released an ice arrow at your foot, and when it hit, the impact froze your boot to the ground. You looked in the direction the arrow came from and saw the warriors, and you kept watch of them as you shattered the ice around your foot and drew your own bow. Now aware you had noticed them, the group of ritos prepared their bows each with three regular arrows. All were shot at you, but you managed to catch the majority with your shield.
