Echo's POV

Colby got a text. He pulled his phone of his back pocket and started texting someone back. Then, he stood up quickly and grabbed my arm. He yanked me up an told me and Corey to follow him. He started running towards the back of the trampoline park. I was much faster of a runner than Colby so I easily trailed behind. He bolted out the back door and carefully shut it behind Corey. "What's wrong? Where's Sam and Jake?" I ask him, Corey panting beside us. "There's no time to explain. We need to find somewhere to go and wait for the police to arrive." Colby says, an urgency in his voice. "Police?" I repeat. "Oh no." Colby say while quickly grabbing onto my waist. I felt my knees go weak as my vision went black.

Colby's POV

"Police?" Echo says in a shaky voice. "Oh no." I say. She's gonna pass out. I grab onto her waist before she could fall. Then I lifted her up and held her like a newborn baby. Then I turned to Corey who had scared written all over him. "I need you to fine somewhere to hide." He nodded his head and started looking around. Then he found some bushes. "Here." He said in almost a whisper, pointing to the bushes. "Great." I said while climbing into them, Echo in my arms. Corey climbed in behind me, ducking down as much as he could. We were terrified and all we could hope for was to make it out of here alive and for Sam and Jake to be ok.
