Echo's POV

As me and Colby kissed, Sam walked in. "You must really love her." He said with a chuckle. "Yeah, I really do." Colby said while looking longingly into my eyes. "Speaking of that..." He trailed off into a little speech. I didn't care to listen tho. All I could care about how how gorgeous he looked. His beautiful blue eyes burning into mine. His outstanding curves. His amazing muscles. He was all I needed and more. Then, I heard him say "Will you be my girlfriend?" I stared at him shocked. How could Colby Brock want to be my boyfriend. "YES!" I said excitedly. His whole face lit up as I said this. I love this man. And clearly, he loves me, too.

As me, Sam, and Colby all walked into the house, an overwhelming sense of dread washed over me. I looked at Colby. "What's wrong?" He asked. I felt tears sting my eyes as I looked over at the staircase. Then after that, black.

Colby's POV

As we walked in, I took a deep breath. It's only been a few days but I missed this place. I looked over at Echo who then looked back at me. She looked worried. It almost looked like she didn't want to be here. "What's wrong?" I ask her. I saw tears fill her eyes as she looked over at the stairs. I saw her start to stumble and her eyes start to cross. She fell back into Sam before I could catch her. He picks her up and carries her to the couch and lays her down. I grab a pillow and prop her head up. I sat down and lay her legs across my lap. Sam sits down next to me.

Sam: "I really hope she's ok. It really scares me when she does this whole fainting thing."

Colby: "Me, too. Honestly they seem to be getting worse. She stays out for longer and when she wakes up, it takes her longer to recover."

Sam: "I wonder if there's anything we can do to help."

Colby: "Same. But there's not. She's already tried every pill in the book but none of them work so she just has to let it happen. I think the only thing we can do is try our best to keep her calm and not overwhelm her."

Sam: "What about the prank wars?"

Colby: "It's up to her but if she decides to join, go easy. Nothing major."

Sam: "We'll that doesn't seem fair." He said in a jokingly tone.

Next thing I knew, she was starting to stir.
"You feeling alright?" I ask her as her eyes fluttered open.
"Yeah." She said in a cold tone. "You don't seem fine..." I said a little worried. "I'm fine." She said close to yelling before taking off towards the stairs. I was going to follow but before I could stand up, Sam put his hand on my chest and pushed me back down. I looked over at him and he shook his head. "She needs space." He said. Sam has a girlfriend so I took his word for it. I let her be.
