Echo's POV

When I woke up I was in Colby's bed. He was sleeping peacefully next to me. He's so adorable... I thought to myself. I turned on my side and rested my head on his chest and listened to his heartbeat.
Thump
Th- thump
Thump
Th- Thump
After a few minutes I drifted back to sleep.
When I opened my eyes, I was in a dark room. I was sitting in a wooden chair with my hands tied behind my back. Duct tape was covering my mouth. Then, a tall, muscular man appears from the darkness. He walks up to me and rips the duct tape off of my mouth. I gasp from the pain. "Who are you?" I ask. "I don't think that matters." He said in a low voice. He then whipped out a knife. He put it to my cheek and pressed down. I winced from the coldness radiating from the small blade. "I'm going to ask you this once. Where's Anna?" He said in a chilling tone. "I don't know who that is." I said, my voice barely a whisper. After I said that, he started carving into my cheek. I screamed out in pain, blood spilling from my face. "PLEASE STOP" I cried out. "Alright then." He said. He then disappeared back into she shadows, returning a few moments later dragging an unconscious Colby on the ground. He then pulled out a gun and aimed it at his head. "NO" I screamed while he shot the gun.

Colby's POV

I woke up to Echo snuggling into my chest. God she's adorable... I thought to myself. I then drifted back to sleep. I then woke up again about 30 minutes later to Echo shifting uncomfortably. I wrapped my arms around her. She then moved again, flipping onto her back. Then she started crying. In her sleep. "What the hell is happening?" I quietly ask myself. I gently tried shaking her to wake her but she didn't wake up. She then started screaming bloody murder, thrashing around in her sleep.
"ECHO WAKE UP." I screamed at her, shaking her shoulders violently. Her eyes flew open and she gasped. "Colby." She said hugging me tighter than I've ever been hugged. "Are you ok?" I ask her with concern flowing through my voice. "Nightmare." She whispered. We both layed back down, her head on my chest, my arms wrapped around her. I stayed awake until she was asleep, then I went back to sleep myself. Life is crazy.
