One and Only

Colby's POV

After about 30 minutes, I decided to go check up on Echo. As I walked up to our room, I heard the shower running. I walked into the room and closed the door, then knocked on the bathroom door. "what" Echo says. "You ok?" I ask. No response. "Echo?" Still no response. "I'm coming in." I say. I open the door and walk in, closing it behind me. I open the shower curtain to see her curled up in a ball with all her clothes still on. "What are you doing?" I ask her gently.
Nothing. She just keeps staring at the wall.
I sigh and get in beside her, all my clothes still on. She leans her head against my chest. "Why is this happening to me?" She asks, choking back tears. "Aww honey come here." I say and scoot closer to her, wrapping my arms around her. She sobbed into my chest when there was a knock on the door. "Come in." I say while Echo continued to cry. Sam walked in and saw us. He didn't say anything. He just got in with us and sat next to me. He laid his head down on my shoulder. He all sat there for the next couple hours in silence. It was a comfortable silence tho. It felt like acceptance. Echo eventually calmed down. After a few more hours. I realize Echo and Sam had both fallen asleep. I carefully got up and turned off the water. I picked sam up and carried him to his room first. I laid a towel down on his bed and lay him down. I changed him into sweatpants and a new shirt. I didn't change his underwear tho. I know this might made him a little mad in the morning but I wasn't gonna let him sleep in wet clothes. I then went back to the bathroom and picked up Echo, giving her a small kiss on the forehead. I carried her into out room and laid a towel down on the bed and lay her down. I got her completely naked and picked out an outfit for her. I decided on a bra, underwear, and one of my hoodies. I put them on her, careful not to wake her. I then climb into bed next to her, covering both of us up. I wrap my hands around her waist and nuzzle my face into her neck. "I love you, Echo." I said then kissed her neck before drifting off to sleep.
