"Master has summoned you," Nakime said, strumming her biwa. She strummed again, and all the uppermoons teleported to a platform.

"Ms?" Akaza asked, turning to Nakime.

"Hm?" she said, not bothering to look up.

"Why were we summoned? All the upper ranks are still alive. Unless it's about something else...?" Akaza said.

Nakime nodded slightly. "Something else."

"Ah." Akaza decided not to bother the biwa demon anymore, turning his attention back to the other uppermoons.

"Ohhh, Akaza-dono~! It's been a while, hasn't it?" Douma said from behind Akaza.

"We saw each other yesterday."

"Hm... Still a while, though!" the blond said, grinning. He wrapped his arm around Akaza's shoulders.

Kokushibo, thinking a fight was going to break out between the two, moved to interfere, but to his—and the other upper rank's—surprise, Akaza doesn't do anything. He just stands there, seemingly content and unbothered.

"The master...has arrived," Nakime said, strumming slightly.

The uppermoons immediately bowed, towards Muzan.

"I have come...with an announcement," Muzan said. "Rise."

The demons rose, all of them standing before the king of demons. Muzan looked angry.

"So, I've heard that some of you upper ranks are in relationships," he said, looking pointedly at Douma and Akaza. The two shuffled away from each other slightly. "And these relationships are getting in the way of your missions and you two are becoming weak. Now, this must end or I'm stripping your titles of uppermoons."

Akaza and Douma glanced at each other, worried. Sure, they both loved each other and everything but they both also cared about their places as upper ranks. Getting the title stripped away would be pretty bad. And besides, their relationship could always just 'end' but really not. And of course some of the other uppermoons would help, right? Especially Daki who seemed obsessed (or is it obssesed?) when it came to things like this, and Kokushibo who was like a parent to them.

"Yes, Master," upper two and three said in unison. They would go along with this.

Muzan glared down at the two of them. "I'm assuming you two have forgotten I can read minds. Your tricks will not work on me, so listen now. Your relationship is going to be forgotten and left behind. No doing anything you do in your pesky little 'relationships' because that is something unimportant. And besides, none of you have found a single trace to the blue spider lily. And none of you have found a track leading to the Tamayo. You uppermoons are disappointing me greatly. You're not in the highest rank for no reason, are you?" He paused, letting the information sink in.

None of the upper ranks thought much about it, the lecture being quite normal to them already. Akaza and Douma were starting to get slightly worried about the first part, but they didn't really think it meant anything—at least, not yet.

"Nakime," Muzan said in an orderly tone (No idea what that's supposed to mean).

There was a strum, a shift and Muzan was gone.

Kokushibo turned to the other uppermoons, his usually serious face broken out in concern.

"Akaza? Douma?" he asked.
