"Morning beautiful" came the husky voice of    the blonde midfielder.

Oh shit, his morning voice is so hot. Stop. No you can't think that.

How the fuck did I end up in Emile Smith Rowe's bed? Do I even want to know

"Did we erm...did we...?"

"I'm slightly offended you don't remember babe"

A nervous laugh escaped Isla's mouth.

"Can we keep this between us? I don't want to be the talk of the training centre if you get me" Isla almost whispered

"If that's what you want Isla, i was thinking we could've gone for dinner later"

Isla quickly brushed off the invite for dinner. Forgetting her knee wasn't fully healed she jumped out of the bed, wincing in pain while she quickly got herself dressed and left.

On her way home her mind was racing, a million thoughts a minute. She'd not slept with anyone since her ex and they'd been broken up for nearly 4 months now. Now she'd jumped into bed with one of the men's team on a night out. What the fuck? This was so unlike her.

Quickly showering and gathering up her bag  she made her way into training. Her mind still racing with flashbacks from the night before. Parking up she cleared her head and made her way inside only to be met with those mesmerising brown eyes again...

"Could've gave you a lift if you didn't rush off this morning" he smirked

"Uh, yeah it's alright" she stumbled "need to go I'm nearly late as it is"

She was kept busy all morning with sessions with both the physio and conditioning coach. The afternoon was spent out on the pitch, she done a few drills with the coaches but wasn't involved in training with the team yet so she watched from the side of the pitch. Since her injury she hadn't been able to do any of her usual coaching with the academy players so this would have to do for now.

After chatting to the girls on their way back inside, Isla showered before heading to her car. Texting Leah as she walked through the car park, she'd typed out the same message so many times not sure what to say or how to say it. Eventually deciding not to bother telling her best friend about her encounter with pretty boy. It was a one time thing, she didn't need to know. Plus it was hardly breaking news.

As she had opened the door to her house, Leah popped up on FaceTime. Straight away she noticed something was different. Asking if Isla had her hair done. Was it her brows. Leah couldn't work it out but she could tell something was different about Isla since they last seen each other. She just couldn't work out what.

After they'd covered everything from Leah's time away at camp to what they were both eating for dinner, Leah remembered why she'd called. She'd managed to get Isla a ticket in the family & friends section for the next group stage game it would be comfier for her with her knee was Leah's reasoning. They really would do anything for each other. That's what best friends do right??
