"Cmon then pretty girl, I'll nap with you" she said hobbling through the door with her moon boot and crutches.
"Le, what you doing here? "
"Supporting you like you did for me all summer. I've even wore a blue top for the occasion" she smirked showing me her top after dropping her crutches against the desk and hobbling toward the bed.
"Wow, blue suits you. As happy as I am to see you, can we get back to my nap now?" I laughed wrapping my arms around her waist and pulling her close. Her head resting on my shoulder
"Mmmhmm" she hummed in my ear tightening her grip on my waist as I held her other hand.

I've no idea how long we'd been asleep but I felt a lot more awake so I must have needed it. I'd been more tired than usual this camp and Id been thinking maybe it's time for me to retire from international football. I'm 31, I've been to the Euros, Olympics  and a World Cup. I knew I wouldn't make a decision right away but it was at the back of my mind. Selfishly I didn't want to give up the chance to play in one final World Cup.

I was brought out my thoughts by Leah nudging me. She's obviously been speaking and I was zoned out.
"you owe me £25 by the way"
"How do I owe you £25?" I laughed "I buy everything. Do you even know what the inside of a shop looks like?"
"I transfer you what I owe you though. And I get nervous someone recognises me"
"So you send me then there's comments online like "I met Isla in Tesco buying wine"
"Yeah that was hilarious"
"Right anyway tell me how the fuck I owe you £25?" That came out way more Scottish than I expected, I knew right away seeing Leah's face screw up
"Even after 8 years, I've no idea what most of those words were, all I heard was £25"
"Why. Do. I. Owe. You. £25? That better"
"You could've just said that. Dropping you off at the airport cost me £35... £10 for drop off and £25 for the parking"
"Na, not a chance. You were driving, you chose to park instead of going to the drop off area. You can have £10, in fact I've changed my mind you're not even getting that" I laughed sticking my tongue out
"Seriously? that's the most expensive kiss of my life"
"Most expensive kiss so far you mean and you can replace my shampoo you've been using. Don't think I haven't noticed you've been using it" I smirked lifting her hair closer to me "Yep knew it, I know that scent a mile away"
"So does this count as our first fight?" she smirked looking up with those blue eyes.
"No you idiot" I looked at her confused
"Oh that's a shame, we could've 'made up' if it was" she replied leaning in, just as our lips touch my phone starts ringing startling us both
"Fuck sake Isla" she whined hiding her face in the crook of my neck as I reached behind me for my phone, knowing it's probably a last minute team meeting or something I answered without looking.

"Just checking you've not slept in for lunch" Caroline said as I answered
"Eh, yeah. I'll be right down"
"We've not left yet" I heard Lisa in the background. That means I've got about 10 seconds before she bursts through the door between our rooms that we leave unlocked.
"Le, act normal" I said pushing her off me and jumping off the bed
"Wha..." Too late Lisa's made her grand appearance with Caroline trailing after her
"Alright Leah, so you found the right room?" she laughed plonking herself on the spot on the bed I'd vacated abruptly seconds before.
"Ye mate, thanks for that" she said hugging Lisa.
"So you were in on this?" Pointing between Leah and Lisa "very sneaky"
"How else would I know what room you were in?" Leah quipped
"I dunno, you woke me up so I wasn't thinking"
"When did you start sleeping so much? Is this an age thing?" Lisa laughed
"Did you speak to someone about how tired you are?" God she won't drop this. "Na, I'm fine. Im due my period"
"That explains crying at Mamma Mia the other night then" Caroline & Lisa laughed
"Are we going for lunch or ripping the piss out of me? Coz I'm starving"
