--Erica's POV--

"Blake, can you make sure that Thomas is ready for," I say as he walks in with Thomas trailing behind him, "You excited to hang out with Cora?" I ask squatting down to his eye level.

"Yeah she told me about all the board games," he says with a goofy smile on his face. He tugs on his father's hand and Blake pretends to tip over making the boy widened his eyes, "Come on Dad," He groans.

"You coming with?" he asks. I nod my head and put on one of his sweatshirts before following them down the stairs. There is a small layer of snow on the ground from the previous night. The kids in the community were excited while the adults worried about the cold. But it's nice to see they are still able to have a naïve viewpoint because of how much we all worry. Blake takes my hand in his and gives me a look as he sees me zoning out on the slush on the pavement.

"Wanna stay on watch with me tonight?" he asks. I nod my head as Thomas runs off ahead of us when he sees Cora and some other kids running around. We walk up to Luke and Kyleigh's front door and open the door seeing the couple talking on the stairs.

"Look what I found," Luke says holding up a bottle of whiskey that looks fancy as shit, "I was thinking we could celebrate tonight for a job well done....plus the kids are preoccupied," he says passing the bottle to Blake.

"I like the sound of that," He smirks as Kyleigh and I look at each other, "I'll go tell the guys," He says and Luke says he will come with.

"I could use a drink. Cora was up all night talking about our adventure. She's adorable and I love her but I'm drained," She says making me laugh.

"Thomas was sad he couldn't go and made us pinky promise he would be allowed out next time," I tell her as we sit on the couches in the Livingroom.

"Why am I ready for bed?" I say trying to suppress my yawn. She laughs as she does the same, "God we are such grandmas".

"Tonight is a party night. We should grab the radio and get some CDs," she says before helping me off the couch. I follow her upstairs into the spare room and find a couple of good choices while she goes down to set up everything. A couple of minutes later I hear loud voices from downstairs. Ashton calls my name up the stairs and I peek out making him smile. He jogs up and sees the music choices I have made and nods in approval.

"How was your day?" I ask as he sits on the dresser I'm standing next to.

"Reece and I got into a fight about something stupid," he says shocking me. Reece and him never fight so it can't be stupid. I can tell he doesn't want to talk about it so I hold out a handful of CDs making him smile appreciatively.

"Let's go downstairs before more people start coming up," I say as he helps me carry everything down. We start walking down the stairs and see Luke pouring shots for everyone. I stick by Blake's side as Ashton says he's gonna play the music. We all hold out glasses up when Ashton comes back and Luke cheers to a bright future.

"Who's gonna be on watch now?" I ask as Blake sets his glass down. He smiles before telling me the twins were eager to take his spot. Those two confuse me, "Sneak off with me later," he whispers in my ear before going to talk with the guys. I smile to myself as I move closer to Kyleigh and Bailee.

"What's the for?" Bailee asks pointing to my smile.

"Blake asked me to sneak off later," I tell them looking over to see him looking back at me.
