She had barely gotten enough sleep last night. 6 hours of sleep to be exact. Her mind thought about her recent acquaintance; Al-Haitham. His snarky ass seemed like the type to sleep at 9:00 and wake up at 5:00.
Speaking of her recent text mate, she hadn't changed his contact number yet. Oh well, she'd probably just change it later.
Reaching over for her phone, she began to read the notifications she received. Her tired, glossy eyes scanned her phone's notification wall, until one particular widget caught her eye.
"2 unread messages from ####-###-####"
Before she could open it, her beloved roommate knocked on her door.
"Hey, you up? Let's have breakfast," Yelan said, slightly opening the door to her roommate's dark, cluttered and messy room. "Woah. Your room's a mess." She exclaimed, slightly leaning on the doorframe. Of course, she was referring to the various bottles of carbonated drinks in the garbage, the empty pocky boxes next to her desk and the concerning amount of unopened packages which were piled up in the corner of the room.
"Yeah, yeah. Good morning to you too, Yelan." Y/n said, groggily sitting up from her bed. Her roommate's beady fox eyes scanned her room. "I'll clean it up soon. Right now, cleaning this place is the least of my worries since i've got another exam later this week." She exclaimed, shooting a drowsy glance at her beloved yet judgmental roommate.
As Yelan exited the room quietly, Y/n began to get ready for the day. Hopping into her bathroom, she washed her face, brushed her teeth and picked out an outfit that she hopefully wouldn't regret wearing that day.
The girl decided that a beige sweater and some cargo pants wouldn't be a bad choice. The forecast last night did say that it was going to be quite humid that day.
Plopping down on one of the barstools in front of their dorm's shared countertop, Y/n finally opened her phone.

Okay.
😊😊😊
Her eyes widened. Her jaw elongated and dropped to the floor. Her heart skipped a beat. The world stopped turning for a second.
He used an emoji.
