"𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐦 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬, '𝐇𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐦." Tighnari said. He looked at the grey-haired boy, whose expression seemed as if he was lost in his own world.
..
"Helloo?" Tighnari said again, this time waving to get his attention. Al-Haitham finally seemed to snap out of it.
"Apologies." He said, quickly turning away.
"Something I need to know about? You can tell me." Tighnari said, fiddling with the straps of his bag as they sat opposite each other in one of the private library rooms.
The air was silent for a while until Al-Haitham finally spoke.
"Do you ever get feelings you can't describe? Those kinds of feelings where you can't get something off your chest, and it weighs you down?" He said, sternly gazing at Tighnari as if he was a lion eyeing its next target.
"I don't quite get what you mean. Is there another possible explanation you could give me?" Tighnari asked, falling back into his seat.
"Like... When someone makes you feel things that you've never felt before.. It's odd, so you avoid them as much as possible? You push them away whenever you see them, making you feel so-..."
...
Almost instantly, a lightbulb clicked in Tighnari's head. Before he could speak, the door to the private room opened.
"You have a crush... Don't you?" Cyno said, walking into the room with his laptop in hand.
Al-Haitham's ears went pink.
"I don't."
...
"Stop looking at me like that."
Cyno and Tighnari shared a knowing look.
"Who's the lucky girl? I mean come on, you've probably never had a crush before, so the only rational thing to do would be to tell us." Cyno said, holding back a slight chuckle.
"I don't have a crush. Shut up." Alhaitham said, eyes piercing daggers into Cyno.
"Don't tease him, Cyno." Tighnari snapped.
...
The room was filled with silence once more. The tension radiating from Al-Haitham was too thick. (like Kaveh's ass-)
"Anyway, what are we having for dinner tonight?" Tighnari said, finally breaking the silence.
"What?" Cyno asked, a puzzled expression plastered on his face.
"Kaveh invited us over to dinner at their dorm. Y/n's coming over too." The green-haired boy said casually, proceeding to open up a book about biology.
Al-Haitham visibly tensed up. His mind drifted off into other thoughts.
Suddenly, the bell rang.
"I'm heading to class. Bye." The gray-haired boy said, quickly leaving the room with his belongings.
"You thinking what I'm thinking?"
"... I don't think it's her."
"..."
"..."
"wanna bet?"
