As I was being taken away, I kept hearing footsteps behind me. I didn't dare look. It could end up like a past experience I've had multiple times. One time a man in a black trench coat and a big top hat kept eyeing me at school. As he was forced to leave, I only saw one large brown eye under his shaggy hair (though nobody believed me). Another time was when Harmony, Andy, and I were attacked by this huge black dog at an amusement park.
I hoped something like that wouldn't happen.
When Mr.King pulled me into a classroom, I immediately recognized it as Mr. Adams classroom, (he was my favorite teacher btw, he taught Greek and Roman mythology, and he was always in a wheelchair) and immediately got nervous. His room was filled with all kinds of swords, daggers, and other weapons. Before you ask, these were not foam swords you see two- year olds playing with, these are real bronze weapons that can kill every living thing. So, if a fight broke out I was ready to grab one and defend myself.
"So, tell me what happen missy." Mr.King asked.
I explained what happened, when I finished his small blue eyes were glowing with anger.
"Come with me." He growled, and he grabbed my arm.
Before I could respond, someone grabbed me from behind and clamped a hand over my mouth.
Mr.King smiled evilly.
"I see my trainee has come to help."
I couldn't see behind me, and I couldn't fight away. I was too shocked and scared.
Mr.King took me outside to the field, and whoever was behind me pushed me down. I turned onto my back only to see Maxwell. But he wasn't Maxwell, he was growing, and becoming muscular. I looked back at Mr.King and he was doing the same. Soon two huge monsters were towering over me.
Someone yelled behind me: "It's the Laistrygonians!" And i realized it was Mr.Adams.
I dodged a blow from Maxwell and turned to look at him. To my surprise, Harmony and Andy were there to.
Mr. Adams threw a bronze dagger to me. When I caught it, he said: "Kill them Atlanta!"
I turned back to them and showed them the dagger. But they just laughed.
"Oh Atlanta, even with that dagger you are hopelessly outmatched." Mr. King said.
I took a deep breath: " I don't care, your going down." I said, surprised at how confident i sounded.
Mr. King smirked: "Am I really?" And he charged.
I was suddenly filled with strength. I knew what to do, when to strike, and when to dodge. I missed another blow and stabbed him on the back of his leg.
He howled in agony. Soon, he recovered, though still bleeding, he charged again, this time, I waited.
He soon was a foot in front of me, right then I jumped and landed on his head. He tried shaking me off, but before he did, I stabbed his bald head. He went limb, and crumbled onto the ground, and started dissolving. I landed right next to him, exhausted from what just happened. Maxwell appeared in front of me, in his human form, looking smug.
"Well Atlanta, you just killed a teacher. That means your gone." And with that, he left. And I didn't care.
Harmony, Andy, And Mr. Adams came toward me, their eyes filled with excitement and horror.
"Atlanta...." Harmony started.
"That was awesome!" Andy interrupted.
Mr. Adams elbowed him and pointed. I saw Maxwell walking with the principal, toward us.
That was the end of my days at Southern Day Middle School.
