I was surprised that breathing under water wasn't as hard as it sounded. It was like breathing regular air. Even Drake and Harmony looked at ease. They were a little hesitant at first and held their breath, but then eventually couldn't hold it anymore and started breathing normally. I felt at ease.
Thank you dad. I thought.
I pulled my hippocampus to a stop, and Harmony and Drake did the same. I took a long look at the sea surrounding me. It looked like a regular ocean, with fish and kelp and other things I couldn't name. Some fish came up to me, looking confused and muttering things I couldn't understand. Then they calmed down and the closest one to me said in my head. "Why are you here"
"Can you even understand me?" I thought/said to them.
"Well if you can understand us we can understand you." The voice said in my head again.
"Oh OK." I replied
"Atlanta what are you doing?" Harmony asked.
"I'm talking to the fish." I answered.
"You can do that?" Drake asked.
"I'm the daughter of the sea god, so I guess I can." I replied.
"Excuse me miss, but you still haven't answered our question, why are you here?" The voice said again.
"Oh, well we're looking for lost golden arrows." I replied.
"Are were they in a silver quiver?" The fish asked.
"Yes!" I exclaimed.
When I said that, all of the fish got a looked of panic, and all said at the same time "we never saw them!" They said it so loudly it made me wince, and they all swam away.
"Well then." I said aloud angrily.
"What did they say?" Drake asked.
"They said they haven't seen them, but I know they have because of that look." I replied.
"Why didn't they tell you then?" Harmony asked.
"I don't know." I said.
"Well, lets keep looking." Drake said.
We dove down deeper, until there wasn't much light. Just when I thought everything was gonna get pitch black, my hippocampus started glowing. But it was weird cause it was only my hippocampus.
"Why is only my hippocampus glowing?" I asked.
"I have no idea." Harmony replied.
My hippocampus whined. I couldn't catch some of the words because she was talking too quickly. I caught two words, daughter, and father.
"Hey I see a cave up ahead! Look in there." Drake said.
When we came up to the cave, it was pitch black. So I volunteered to go inside and look.
"Is there anything, like, living in there?" Harmony asked.
"I have no idea." I replied. "But I guess we'll find out."
My hippocampus dove into the cave, and I saw something I thought was a rock.
"Careful Atlanta!" Drake yelled behind me.
"Yeah yeah." I muttered back.
When I came close, the "rock" had a sorta yellowish-purple color to it. And on the bottom it had what looked like tree roots. Almost like legs.
This is one weird rock, I thought.
I ain't a rock! The "rock" said angrily.
I didn't have enough time to respond, because the rock with legs attached itself to my face. I let out a muffled scream, and my hippocampus shot out of the cave.
"Oh my gosh!" Harmony exclaimed.
"Help me get the octopus off her!" Drake ordered loudly.
I felt a pull at my face, and I could tell that the octopus was pretty attached, cause Drake couldn't pull it off
"Come on!" Drake yelled.
I could tell i was running out of breath. Because a few second after that.
I blacked out.

When I woke, my eyes opened groggily, and they were soon blinded by the sun, which I laid under on the sand. I covered my eyes and sat up and looked around to see a makeshift camp. I couldn't see very well because my eyes weren't adjusted to the light. But I could make out the outlines of two figures, sitting on the coastline.
I rubbed my eyes, "Hello?" I called to them.
They both immediately turned and screamed "Atlanta!" And ran towards me. Drake got to me first, and hugged me tightly.
"Hey!" I laughed.
"Thank the gods your awake!" He exclaimed.
"We had no idea when you would wake up!" Harmony yelled.
I laughed, then I got really dizzy and laid my forehead on Drake's shoulder. All this activity and light were making me a little overwhelmed, but I was happy to see them.
Drake laid his hand on my back."You okay Atlanta?" He asked quietly.
"Yea." I whispered. "Just a little dizzy."
"Well, we have some food for you if you want it, and-"
"Wait how long was I out?" I asked.
Drake thought for a moment, then said "About two days."
"Two days!?" I exclaimed. "Why didn't you wake me?"
"We tried! You wouldn't wake!" Harmony said.
I sighed heavily and laid my forehead against Drake's shoulder again. We had a lot to catch up on.
Drake patted my back. "It's okay Atlanta, we have a trail."
Drake pulled something out of his leather jacket and laid it in my palm. I looked at it and it was a small piece of a shiny silver leather, that was torn from its whole.
I looked straight at Drake, a gleam of hope in my eye. He smiled and nodded. "Yep, its a piece of the golden arrows quiver."
