After the iris message with Chiron, I didn't wanna talk to anybody. I went to bed in silence. Drake followed soon after.
I felt his hand on my shoulder. "What's wrong?" He asks.
My eyes open and I sit up. Drake's eyes bore into mine. I shift awkwardly.
"I'm worried about what happened in my vision. What will happen to Harmony?" My voice broke.
I sigh and flip my long hair to the side.
Drake sits down behind me, and we sit back to back.
I feel Drake sigh as he says, "Harmony will be fine. She's tough." Silence. "She can escape hopefully." He adds.
"But Drake, that was Ares. How could she escape from a god?" I reply, almost yelling.
I feel Drake wince at my sudden anger. He doesn't answer.
I sigh and lean my head back, It laying on the back of his neck. "I'm sorry Drake. She's my best friend. I don't wanna lose her." I say calmly.
Drake moves again and sits right next to me. He pats my arm.
"I know Atlanta. But we can't worry about her now. The arrows come first, like you said."
I sighed, "Your right."
Drake smiled. "You should sleep. We can get back to the search in the morning."
I nodded and laid down.
"Goodnight Drake." I muttered.
"Night Atlanta." He replied.
Sleep came easily, surprisingly, a dream didn't.

When I woke up, Drake was half packed. He looked at me and smiled. His hair was wet.
"Good morning." He greeted.
"Why is your hair wet?" I ask rubbing my eyes.
Drake looked at a hair in his face, going upwards cross eyed, "Oh, I needed to wash it, so I did over at the sink in the gas station." He pointed behind him, to a run down Chevy gas station. "You can go and freshen up if you want."
I nodded and grabbed my bag. I stood and jogged to the gas station. I walked to the girls bathroom door and knocked.
Nothing.
I pulled on the handle, and of course, it was locked.
"Great." I mumbled.
I walked around the corner and opened the door into the store.
I went up to the cashier, "Hi, do you have a key to the bathroom?"
The man nodded and handed me the key that was attached to a short plastic cup. The little boy behind him scowled at me, but I ignored it.
I walked out and turned the corner again and unlocked the door.
I stared at my reflection.
I now understand why the boy sneered at me. I was a mess.
My long hair was knotted and messy looking. I had large bags under my piercing green eyes.
I changed into my tank top and put on my shorts, along with my vans.
I had just finished washing my face when I heard a knock.
"Atlanta? You there?" Drake asked.
"Yeah just a sec." I answer drying my hands and face and then throwing my hair up into a bun. I was just about to leave when I heard a squeaky voice, "Your just gonna leave without noticing me aren't you?"
I whipped around and saw something swimming around in the sink. I really can't explain what it looks like. Kinda like a squid, but much weirder and smaller.
"What are y- I mean, Who are you?" I asked stepping back.
"I was sent here. I understand you have an underwater quest?" The creature asks.
I nod hesitantly.
"All right then. What are you searching for?"
"Umm. The lost golden arrows." I stuttered.
The things eyes grew distant, as if he'd started thinking it searching for something in his mind.
"I will help you, because I sense them. Meet you at the ocean." It said.
Then he disappeared down the drain.

When I walked out of the door, Drake was already halfway back to the coast.
"Drake!" I called out.
He turned towards me, and stopped. I ran to catch up.
"Hey." He smiled.
I smiled slightly, "Sorry I took so long."
"Nah, your fine." He said. His hair had dried, so now It was hovering his eyes instead of covering them.
"I have to tell you something. I met something. And it said it would help us find the arrows. It said it sensed them." I informed.
Drake looked wary. "When did you meet it?"
"I was just about to leave the bathroom and it popped up in the sink."
"Are you sure it's not a trap?"
I paused. I hadn't thought of that.
"It might not be." He said when I didn't reply.
"I guess we'll find out." I said as we reached the sand.
I whistled and our hippocampi showed up. Harmony's whined. She wanted to know where she was.
"Sorry girl, Harmony isn't here." I said sadly and I petted her snout.
I felt Drake hand in my shoulder as he leaned in close. He whispered, "Don't worry. We will find Harmony. I promise." He smiled and walked slowly over to his hippocampus, petting him softly. I turned back to Harmony's, and there was my little two-legged friend.
I jumped back, "You scared me."
"How? I did nothing." He said.
"Atlanta what is that?" Drake asked.
I shrugged. "No idea. He just appeared in the sink."
"I have never seen anything as strange as that." Drake stated.
"Rude!" The creature said. "I am small, but I am a squid. A blessing to to help you."
"Blessing? From who?" Drake asked.
"No matter." He said quickly. "You may call me Squirt."
I stifled a laugh. "Squirt?"
"Yes! I'm Squirt the Squid! Don't make fun!"
I looked at Drake, barely containing my laughter. He too, was smiling wildly under his hand.
"Stop laughing! Do you want my help or not?" Squirt yelled.
I calmed myself. "Sorry."
Squirt studied me. "A child of the sea God obeying? That's different."
I smirked. "Enjoy it while you can."
"Let's go then! Under the water we go!" With that he submerged.
And Drake and I followed.
