Harmony, Drake, and I were still packing when Chiron called us to the big house for a meeting. I was starting to feel the nerves of leading a quest for the first time.
"Do you kids think your ready for this?" He asked us confidently.
We all nodded, though I was scared out of my wits.
"Good, you kids have a lot of sea to search. But luckily you have Atlanta."
I blushed. I couldn't believe I was in charge.
"You'll do great Atlanta." Drake whispered.
"I hope" I whispered back.
As we were leaving, Chiron called me back.
"Atlanta you must believe you will succeed. Because if you think you won't, you won't. You will succeed Atlanta." he said encouragingly.
"Yes sir." I said in a quiet, polite voice.
"Iris-message is a couple times okay?"
"Okay."

The car ride to the Atlantic was murder. Especially when a guy with eyes all over his body is driving, and a carsick Harmony is sitting next to you.
I've seen Harmony get car sick a billion times before, but this was terrible. We had to stop four times for her to get some fresh air. The fourth time we had stopped in front of a huge lake, and that's when chaos happened.
"Ugh. I need to get out again." Harmony groaned.
The truck stopped right in front of a beautiful lake, and I breathed in the ocean smell. Immediately I felt refreshed, more powerful than ever before.
Harmony bent down and splashed some water onto her face. It seemed like a good idea, so I did the same.
I looked up from my hands to find Harmony staring at me.
"What?" I said confused.
"You just dumped water all over you, and your not even wet." Harmony replied.
I looked down at my shirt to find she was right. I wasn't wet. And I had totally felt the coolness of the water against my skin.
I looked up, very confused. "I have no idea why I'm not wet."
After I said that, I thought of a reason why.
"It might be because of Poseidon." Drake said from behind me.
"Maybe." I said as I stood. "You feeling better Harmony?"
"Yeah, I'm good." Harmony replied soberly.
"Okay, we should get going." As I said that, the current seemed to pick up, as if something big was crawling up the sandy shore.
Just then, a huge wave appeared over us, threatening to dump all over us.
I heard Harmony and Drake scream behind me, and immediately I thought: I can't let them die.
I raised my hands, and suddenly, a tight pulling formed in my stomach, and the water, was fighting itself.
"Atlanta! How are you doing that?" Harmony exclaimed.
"Don't worry about it! Just hold your breath guys!" I yelled back.
I looked back to them holding their breath, and the pull at my stomach loosened, as I let the water fall. It crashed above us, and standing before us, was a giant kraken.
"Oh, my, gosh," Harmony said behind me, her voice full of fear.
"Guys back up, I got this." I said calmly.
"Atlanta, there is no way you can take that thing alone." Drake said worriedly.
"Harmony is sick, watch over her."
"I'm totally fine, but there is no way I am fighting that thing." she said.
"Fine, Harmony get to safety. Drake, up to help?" I asked shakily.
Drake flashed a smile, "Always"
With that we both charged the kraken, me going right, Drake going left. I pulled out my long, bronze dagger and stabbed at one of his tentacles. It roared angrily, and swat at me, only to miss. I had no idea how I could fight so well. I seemed to know when and where to strike.
Drake was fighting with amazing skill. His long, bronze sword was striking and stabbing every chance he got, and he wasn't scared to.
While I was watching Drake fight, the kraken saw a chance to strike. His tentacle slashed me on the shoulder, and I fell to the ground.
"Atlanta!" I heard Drake yell.
I looked up and I saw Drake running towards me. I wanted to tell him I was fine, to tell him to keep fighting. But before I could, the kraken swatted him away, and he crashed roughly onto the sand.
"Harmony! Check on Drake! I got him!" I yelled to her.
I stood up shakily, my shoulder still bleeding heavily. I knew I couldn't take this guy alone with the condition I was in.
I used my last card: Dad. I prayed Help me, please.
I stepped into the water and was filled with strength immediately. I made a wave and stepped onto it. Almost like I was surfing. Soon I was taller than the giant kraken, towering over it like heaven to earth.
I made a whirlpool around the monster, making it dizzy. Then I raised it on top of a wave, and launched it father than I could see.
I lowered down and crashed onto the sand, my strength had abandoned me.
I took a deep breath and stood up slowly, and I saw Harmony running towards me, looking concerned.
"I'm fine, how's Drake?" I asked
"He's hurt, badly. But alive."
I took a breath of relief. "How badly?"
"Come see for yourself." she replied
