Izumi's voice was almost indistinguishable admits the crackling static. She stuttered with almost every word and her voice lacked any confidence whatsoever. The only thing the trio who were watching could here were the desperate cries of a person who stood to lose everything while trying to gain just some semblence of hope.
"No. Heroism is a dangerous line of work that requires those involved to out their lives on the line. In a world where a criminal could put multiple lives in danger because of their quirk someone without a quirk will be at an immediate disadvantage. Even those with more mundane quirks or quirks not suited towards certain situations still have the advantage of their quirk in its application," All Might spoke hesitantly at first but his conviction was clear. "I saw you save that young lady earlier from the slime villain which had escaped me. A fine act of heroism indeed however I'm sure you also understood with that exchange just how much of a disadvantage you were against a rather minor villain."
The trio watched the light leave Izumi's eyes as she mumbled an apology for interfering and taking up the hero's time.
"You know if you still want to do heroic acts and work closely with heros you could become a police officer or part of the Safety Commision, they have training regiments aimed towards recuiting the quirkless as far as I'm aware," All Might gave the girl a small salute before jumping out of sight.
Just before the recording came to an end the trio noticed Izumi look up towards somewhere in the camera's blindspot muttering the word: "Kachan" with tears in her eyes as the recording stopped.
The trio sat in silence for a moment before Aizawa spoke up, "Are we really going to let someone like that teach here? If that's the best he can do when dealing with an obviously very distressed child who is displaying signs of abuse, neglect, and bullying then how will he handle students with the same or possible worse issues?"
"Principal I have to agree with Sho on this one," Yamada shifted uncomfortably in his seat, "while what All Might said is certainly valid there was a much better way to go about that. As a hero it's our job to inspire hope in the next generation not crush it. As a teacher we have to show them and make sure they're prepared for their jobs as heros. Can we really be sure he can handle that if this is his behavior? He may look good to the media but after that I'm not so sure he really qualifies to teach what it means to be a real hero."
"I agree with you both on the fact that All Might's ability to teach and nuture the next generation is more than questionable after witnessing that. However that decision will not be left to us, as I said earlier Inari will be the one to decide whether or not he is allowed to teach here. I would normally have All Might's license revoked and him forced to take classes on civilian interactions but that is not within my power. I do have an interesting proposition for you in the meantime."

"So it's like a voice changing mask?" Shinso was trying to make sense of the notes Saya had written on the side of the drawing she had made a few minutes ago however they were a bit too complicated for him to understand.
Saya took back the notebook and entered a mumbling spree as she began to explain the design and function of the mask. "The mask uses a series of metal bars and rods that can be adjusted via the small knobs around the chin and cheekbone area to alter the vibrations emitted from your voice. By altering the vibrations you can change the frequency of the sound waves and either raise or lower the pitch of your filtered voice. It's better to have a design like this over an electeonic mask since a villain could potentially track or exploit an electric powered mask."
"Man I'd never be able to come up with something like this," Shinso nodded thoroughly impressed.
The two teens turned at the sound of the infirmary door opening to see Nezu followed by Aizawa and Yamada enter the room. Nezu in particular had his usual unreadable smile while the other two seemed somewhat apprehensive.
"Hitoshi, Inari, we have come to ask the both of you something very important now that the staff meeting has come to a close," Nezu stepped aside as Aizawa and Yamada approached the two teens.
"Saya Inari under the current wording of the law I as the Pro Hero Eraserhead am able to take you under my care until you have either turned 18 or I have found a home for you through the legal system," Aizawa knelt beside the two and looked them in the eyes with complete seriousness.
Yamada pulled over one of the available stools and sat beside his son, "Should you accept we will be your official guardians however, the entire teaching staff would be considered your caretakers and U.A. your home. You'll also be listed as part of the teaching staff for a new project Nezu would like to discuss with you in private."
Saya's face remained expressionless as she looked between everyone in the room, none of them missing the nervous fidgeting with the mechanical pencil in her hand.
"Allow me to put it this was Inari," Nezu stepped forward, "do you want to be a hero?"
Aizawa and Yamada glanced at the Principal with obvious shock but he ignored them and moved closer to the cot so that he was looking Saya directly in her eyes. At the mention of the word hero her eyes clouded over for a moment as Nezu watched her internally struggle against the shackles that were placed within her heart and mind. The chimaera smirked as he watched her come to a decision.
"More than anything."
