The first thing that Ochako was expecting to see as she stepped into the clasrrom of 1-A, taking her first steps toward becoming a hero, was not Rumi being held back by Ryuko as she tried to attack a certain ash-blond girl while a blue haired boy was reprimanding the group of them.
"This is unbecoming of U.A. students! Stop this at once before it escalates further!" The blue haired boy was making an odd chopping motion as he spoke.
The ash-blond girl growled, "Why don't you back off Four-Eyes, this is between me and Rabbit-Freak over here. Go take that stick shoved up you butt and go bother someone else!"
"How dare you!" The blue haired boy looked like he was about to collapse from shock, "I am Tenya Iida of Somei Middle School and I will have you address me anf all the other students of our class with respect!"
"As much as I agree with you Four-Eyes go find someone else to lecture with your elitist school crap," Rumi was barely being contained by Ryuko who was struggling to pull the rabbit girl into her seat.
Ochako ran over and put herself in the middle of the group with a nervous smile, "Rumi it's the first day there's no need to fight."
"What does the Rabbit-Freak need Round-Face to babysit her?"
"Everyone settle down!"
The class turned to find a ragged man in a black tracksuit wearing an odd scarf standing at the classroom posium. He looked like he hadn't slept a wink in his life but despite that he still had a certain wild edge about himself. His glare was that of a predator looking down at the weaker predators that resided in its hunting grounds. Almost on instinct the students of Class 1-A went silent and those that were standing sat down in any nearby empty seats without a sound.
"This school isn't some backwater school where they send delinquents and punks because no one can handle them, this is U.A. The top ranked hero school in all of Japan and among the top five hero schools in the world. You're here as future heroes in training so I expect you to act like one. Am I clear?" The ragged man's tone left no room for argument and the rigid students could only nod in response. "Normally I would just expel the lot of you but I haven't gotten to see whether or not you have the potential to grow so consider yourself lucky."
"Sir may I presume you are our homeroom teacher?" Iida raised his hand and spoke once the ragged man gave him a nod of confirmation.
"Yes my name is Shota Aizawa, call me Mr. Aizawa none of that 'Sir' or whatever," Aizawa lazily introduced himself to the class. "Tenya Iida, has good morals and life standards as part of the Iida Family but, is a bit too stern for his own good."
A pink skinned girl with small horns raised her hand next, "Mr. Aizawa why are there two extra desks?"
"You'll see after the Entrance Ceremony," Aizawa sighed as he loathed the very thought of waisting time there and normally he would just skip it but it was nessecary for his class to attend this year. "Mina Ashido, energetic and fun loving but lacking in focus."
After no one else raised their hands Aizawa began to walk out the door and was already halfway down the hall when he realized his students weren't following him. With a sigh he turned around and popped his head back in the door, "If you guys can't take a que to follow me then this is your one warning for that. I won't hesitate to leave you behind next time."
---------------
"Ryu, Rumi did you see Saya or Shinso at all this morning?" Ochako asked her two friends as they sat down in the auditorium that looked like it could fit an entire stadium inside it.
In fact it was so big that there were several clusters of screens and speakers at different intervals away from the stage just so that the entire auditorium could see and hear what was happening on stage. Even with all three years worth of students and the staff combined they barely took up a quarter of the auditorium.
"No but they said they were already here when we invited them to come together this morning," Ryuko shrugged while looking through the crowd of students for their missing friends. "Oh hey I think that's Shinso. Shinso over here!"
Shinso spotted the slit pupiled girl waving him down and quickly made his way over taking the seat to the left of Ryuko. "Sorry I'm late I was helping set up and we just got finished."
"Where's Saya? I thought you guys would be together," Rumi couldn't find the sleep deprived boy's sister amidst the crowd of students who were taking their seats.
Shinso smirked, "We were together while helping set up but now she has her own stuff to do but she said she'd meet us back at class."
Rumi felt a small vibration from her skirt pocket and fished out her phone before quickly hiding the screen. However Ryuko and Ochako managed to see Saya's name followed by hearts one black and one blue. They smirked but made sure the rabbit girl didn't notice lest they incur her wrath. Discreetly peaking at her ohone Rumi read Saya's text.
Hope you like the surprise.
"What surprise?" Rumi thought to herself as the entrance ceremony began.
A small white bipedal animal walked onyo the stage wearing a suit but without the blazer and only the vest. He had a scar across the left side of his face and was about the size of a small child but was otherwise perfectly normal. With nimble and graceful movements he lept onto the podium and gently adjusted the microphone.
"Welcome both new and returning students of U.A. Highschool. For those of you who are seeing me for the fist time my name is Nezu, the Principal of this esteemed hero school. I hope that during your time here you will learn many things both about your future and the future that you want this world to take. It is you, the next generation, that take what we have built and can either tear it down or continue to build upon it. But enough of that, there will be many more interesting and inspiring words passed before this ceremony ends. So before we moce to the student speeches I would like to introduce the two newest members of our staff."
Rumi's eyes lit up as she watched the two figures walk out onto the stage. First was amazement and the second was shock.
"Please welcome Japan's Number One Hero: All Might! He will be teaching the new heroics class focusing on a more practical approach to practicing heroism."
All Might gave his usual fearless grin and waved to the crowd who errupted into deafening cheers. But when the crowd saw the person standing next to him the quickly fell silent.
"Please also welcome First Year Student Saya Inari who will be in charge of a new initiative that will help advanced students learn how to work in an enviornment similar to a hero agency. However I will let Saya explain the details."
