"Rumi, Ryu what are you guys doing here?"
The bubbly voice of a certain brunette called out as soon as the two friends entered the arcade. They turned to find none other than their mutual friend and former classmate Ochako Uraraka running up to them.
"Chako what are you doing here I thought you said you were meeting with some friends of yours today?" Ryu looked surprised as she hugged her friend.
Rumi laughed, "You probably came to meet us afterwards huh?"
"Actually they changed their minds and wanted to come here cause there's a new arcade machine here that looks like the game you two are always going on about." Ochako giggled as she grabbed their hands, "Come with me we still have plenty of tokens to share and I think you'll really like them!"
What Rumi and Ryuko did not expect was to see the pair they met half an hour earlier hunched over an arcade machine with intense focus. Shinso, despite his apparent lack of sleep, was so focused that he hadn't noticed the arrival of the Ochako as well as the two other girls. However as soon as their eyes landed on Saya, Ryuko and Rumi had to do their best to keep a straight face. The blacked haired girl was struggling to stay on her toes to have a better view of the arcade machine's screen. She could reach the controls just fine however the machine was propped up onto a small ledge to elevate it's height so she was struggling to have a full view of the screen. Despite the obvious disadvantage Saya was still doing incredibly well.
"Use your bomb Aniki."
"We'll fail the bonus if I do though."
"Not if we kill the last fairy with our normal shots."
"Sakuya's up next so we need to save our bombs as much as we can."
"I know that's why I'm saving mine since I can do more damage while covering both of us. It's your Last Word that we need to save for the extra level."
"Guys I'm back and I brought my other friends who just arrived!" Ochako broke the siblings from their trance.
"Oh it's you two," Saya said as she abandoned her position and left Shinso to deal with the boss fight alone. "You guys are also friends with Chako?"
"We were surprised to see you two here as well, how did you guys meet Chako?" Ryu laughed as Rumi quickly took over Saya's place at the arcade machine.
"They're the ones I was telling you come over with Mr. Maijima to help with my parent's work now and then!" Ochako pulled Saya and Ryuko over to where she had reserved a table.
Saya nodded, "Uncle Higari brought us over to help with our strength training since a construction sight always needs heavy lifting."
"Speaking of which I thought you and Shin were still training for the entrance exams I was surprised when you asked to hang out today," Ochako said as she flagged down one of the servers and ordered a few snacks and refreshments for the group.
"We still are but we have today off since our Dad and Uncle Kan ran into some issues with their work," Saya gave a small gesture of thanks before silently sipping one of the drinks that had been brought over.
"Oh are did you and your brother apply to one of the hero schools?" Ryu became more interested in the conversation at the mention of the entrance exams.
Ochako handed Ryuko a dragonfuit flavored soda, "Yup they're applied to U.A. just like the rest of us!"
"Hero course I take it?" Rumi dragged over Shinso who looked like he had witnessed some scarring images he would never unsee but quickly recovered once he saw the table full of food.
Shinso jumped into the seat beside Ryuko leaving the only available spot next to his sister, "Yup and we're going to ace the entire entrance exam!"
"No offense but I doubt anyone will beat me in the practical portion," Rumi took her seat and nervously picked up a carrot tempura and nibbled at it which gained a few snickers from Ryuko and Shinso. Saya and Ochako were somehow oblivious to this as they continued on with the conversation.

A dark alleyway was no stranger to many different types of suspicious activity and this was no exception. The light clattering of metal echoed through the alleyway as the lonely manhole was carefully removed and a sickening squelching sound could be heard from within the sewers. A toxic green sludge slowly climbed out from the murky depths and took a moment to reform itself into something vaguely human shaped however it soon once more collapsed into a green pile of goop.
"Damnit," a pair of eyes and lips appeared from somewhere inside the sludge, "I need to find another meat suit after that bastard blew my last one away."
The clinking of a can being kicked nearby caused the sludge to hide itself in the darkness as it watched a group of teens pass by the alleyway.
"C'mon you were the one who hit the puck too hard and got it sent flying into the window Rumi!"
"If your sister hadn't hit it so hard it wouldn't have happened!"
"The game was still fun nonetheless."
"On the brightside we weren't banned from the arcade."
"I agree with Chako on that."
The sludge spotted a small girl with dark hair lagging behind the rest of the group but something felt wrong about the girl. The sludge couldn't quite place it but the girl seemed dangerous in a way it couldn't quite explain. It was as if an aura of death surrounded the girl. However the brunette beside the small girl seemed the least likely to struggle and the fastest to finish off. Ignoring its instincts the sludge began to stealthily advance on the group.
"Today is my lucky day."
