"you have a place in my heart
no one else can have."
—f.scott fitzgerald

jisung's mouth was moving swiftly against minho's, and his hand was comfortably holding onto minho's neck as he leaned his head downward so he could kiss him. honestly, the most slow paced kiss these two have had so far. it was gentle, and it wasn't in a rush or hesitant way. fast forward, they had finished dinner and minho was soon dismissing himself goodbye. minho and eun-hye were left without any words exchange through the whole evening, and jisung felt oddly happy about that. which, he probably shouldn't be because siblings shouldn't have any rivalry, right?

jisung was walking minho out and he abruptly pressed his lips with minho's.

so, yeah, that's what bold jisung decided to do. honestly, they probably shouldn't feel too proud about it.

jisung forcefully made himself pull away. he looked around, not having enough courage to look at minho after doing that. "see you tomorrow, then," jisung mumbled, slightly embarrassed.

"hmm," minho hummed, "does this mean i can kiss you whenever i'd like?" the question made jisung finch, but he was expecting it, so there was no need for him to do so. still, he did so. jisung didn't want to admit it, but yeah, he might just use minho for his desires. the thought of it made jisung feel like total shit, he didn't like it either. but, if he got minho's consent, then...wouldn't that be okay? and, it's not like they hate each other because they're doing that. it's more like...friends with benefits. yeah, just like that. they'll stay friends even when they find a partner, they're just friends who feel attracted to one another. that's it. nothing more and nothing less.

which is exactly what jisung feels that they are. they probably are, but minho is jut a tad bit more attracted to jisung in two different ways. sexual attraction, and emotional attraction. if that's what they call "liking someone," or having a crush on someone, minho is just a little bit more interested in their friendship or relationship to expand into something more. minho just has to find a way that his best friend can see as well, and feel as well.

minho stares at jisung, and expecting his answer to be what he thinks it's going to be. everyone knows what it's going to be.

"yes."

for the better, or the worse.

minho was sorting the bottles of alcohol at the end of his shift when sunwoo came in the room with a lazy yawn. his steps echoed in the silent club room which was quiet for the time being, seeming that the crowd liked late nights better than the day. specially young people.

sunwoo dragged his feet to the bar where minho stood behind, hardly acknowledging the younger. sunwoo noticed the silence and knocked on the bar to get minho's attention. "one glass of whiskey, ey?" sunwoo teased, grinning at the older with his playful gaze that he had most of the time. minho wasn't surprised to see the look on his face, and despite the tired-heavy eyelids, sunwoo still managed to smile through the ugliness.

minho rolled his eyes, not sure if he should smile or be annoyed. he was annoyed, actually. but it hasn't really gotten to him, you know? for some reason minho always feels like there has to be something he should be annoyed about whenever he opens his eyes. he doesn't know why that is, but he has a feeling that it has to do with his own problems. with his own life, aside from his passionate desire to make jisung fall in love with him. he knows that obsessing over the love of his life won't actually fully help his problems. i mean—it could. but does minho really want to bring his own problems to jisung? they've been friends their entire lives so far, yeah sure, but sometimes it's safer to keep those you love away from your problems.
