"And then there
Are the songs
I cannot listen to
Without hearing
You"

solitude has always been jisung's companion, he never once desired to move on from it, or let go of it. solitude was like a long time friend that was always there for jisung whenever the world was pushing him to his limits. like a getaway vacation. most would say that's neither healthy or comforting, but for jisung it was a decent getaway vacation. lonelines didn't feel uncomfortable or unfamiliar.
it's been three days since they've talked and decided to give each other personal space, agreeing that jisung should rather take his time understanding his own feelings. it isn't easy, love. jisung is realizing this now. love is in all forms of shapes, in all sorts of different meanings. there will never be a right way to love someone. jisung is afraid of that, not being able to love minho in the sense he wants him to.
all jisung ever wanted was to be loved, and minho was there to love him.
yet, it felt wrong. for jisung to want something that he can't give to the person who's doing the same for him. jisung wanted to do the same for minho, but he just didn't know how, or even if it was possible for him to make that happen as well.
jisung thought maybe love just wasn't meant to be his, and maybe that was for the best.

"is minho here? i didn't see him in the crowd," byung-ho spoke as the band were backstage getting ready for their performance.
jisung shrugged his shoulders without reacting so much of it. "i don't know. he's probably busy."
"doing what? serving drinks and watching people get high? that's insane, who would want to do that?" byung-ho mumbled as he began tuning his bass.
jisung remains expressionless as byung-ho continues murmuring things about how much of an idiot minho was for not arriving to their performance. yong-sun who secretly eavesdropped from the side, finally decides to approach them. "hey, cut it out, won't you? your voice is giving me a headache," yong-sun said, eyeing byung-ho.
byung-ho flinches and lowers his head down. "sorry," he mumbles, and walks away in fright. when he's all gone, yong-sun shifts his attention to the younger, observing him.
"are you okay?" yong-sun asks the question he's been dying to ask since jisung arrived all by himself to the place.
jisung hesitates to meet yong-sun's gaze. "er, yeah. i'm alright. what about you?"
"all good here," yong-sun replies immediately in which he causes an awkward silence to linger between them. jisung softly hums before he averts his gaze back to his guitar, not quite in the mood to talk at the moment.
seconds went by and when yong-sun finally gets the courage to continue the conversation, he clears his throat loudly in hopes to grab jisung's attention. though he doesn't succeed, he gives up and settles on opening his mouth to speak. "um..i got the tickets," he states, nervously.
jisung merely hums. "oh? how nice.."
"i got three tickets," yong-sun adds, making jisung flinch and stop with whatever he was doing.
slowly, the lad meets yong-sun's eyes, confusion tugged between his brows. "what? three tickets? for who?"
"well, last time you said you wanted minho to come along... so i, got an extra ticket. for him."
