I waited outside the school for Sarah, it was a miracle I even got there in time with Lukas holding me up and then the traffic in the city. It wasn't the first time Lukas had asked me out after that stupid double date. I've said no every time he has. I always had an excuse. My friend, Lilly, has even tried to get to give him a chance. She was only doing it because she was seeing his friend.

Lukas wasn't a bad looking guy. He's twenty-three, dark hair, green eyes, athletic. But he was self absorbed. He liked to talk about himself a lot and liked to remind people of how rich he was. He was a boy playing dress up in daddy's closet. The date I had gone on with him was just him talking about how great he is then he tried to convince me to go home with him. Let him give me the best orgasm of my life because he thinks he's a Sex god. I could tell right away he wasn't used to being told no. And he's proven that several times now.

I was pulled out of my thoughts when Sarah got in the car. "Hey, kid, how was school?" I asked. "Boring. Can we still watch Harry Potter tonight?" She asked. I chuckled and pulled out of the school. "Of course! But…only after you do your homework, okay?" She nodded her head and smiled. The whole home was filled with laughter and singing. We never had a boring time.

When we got home I pulled into my driveway and opened the garage. I hit the button to close it and we rushed out before the door closed. "Yn!" We stopped at the end of the driveway. Lukas got out of his very expensive and shiny black car and walked towards us. Sarah looked at me and I rolled my eyes. "Hey, how about you go over and start on your homework. I'll be there in a minute, okay?" She looked at Lukas then back and me and I nodded my head. "Okay." She looked at Lukas one more time before running over to the house and going inside.

"Why are you here and how did you even know where I lived?" I asked. "Asked your friend for your address. Look, I know you're playing hard to get and I'll admit it's kind of hot but it's been weeks. So, how about you just let me take you out. Hmm? Just you and me. I can make reservations." I shook my head and started to walk across the road. "Come on! I'll make it worth your while!" I turned around once I was in Joel's driveway.

"I said no. And no… Well, it means no. So piss off and leave me alone," I said. I went to turn around but he grabbed my arm. "Let go. of. me," I said, slowly. He got closer to me, "Stop being a bitch and be ready tomorrow night." I tried pulling out his grip but it only tightened. "Where something…easy to take off." He let go of me and walked away. I quickly made my way inside after that.

"Who was that? Is he your boyfriend?" Sarah asked. She was sitting at the kitchen table doing her homework. I shook my head and walked into the kitchen to see what I could make for dinner and to grab a snack for her. "God no. I went out with him once and now he won't leave me alone. I set grapes down in front of her with a glass of water. "What do you think…lasagna?" I asked. She smiled and nodded her head. "Yes! Innocent your lasagna!"

"Technically it's Nonna's lasagna. But thank you. So, what're you working on?" I asked. I pulled out everything I needed and began preparing everything. "Fractions. I hate it but it's not that hard," she said. I started cooking the hamburger and then started chopping up some onions. "Fractions were my enemy in school. So was algebra," I said, making her laugh. After I finally had the lasagna put together I put it in the oven and we watched some TV show she liked.

I was just pulling the lasagna out of the oven when Joel and Tommy walked through the door. "Smells good in here!" I heard Tommy say. "Yn made lasagna," Sarah told him. The three of them came into the kitchen. Joel walked up beside me. "You didn't have to do that," he said. I rolled my eyes. "No offense Mr. Miller…" he cut me off. "Joel. Please call me Joel." I sighed, "Joel… no offense but your cooking sucks." His eyes widened and he nudged me before getting plates out. "My cooking isn't that bad."

"Yes it is," Tommy and Sarah said. He put his hand over his heart. "I'm hurt. I thought you liked my cooking," he said to Sarah. She giggled when he went up and picked her in the sides gently. "I only tell you to not hurt your feelings. Yn is a way better cook." I brought the glass dish over and set it in the middle of the table and we ate. After we were finished and everything was cleaned up Tommy left and Sarah and I went to the living room to watch the first Harry Potter movie.

Of course, half way through Sarah fell asleep. Her head was on my lap, the movie played in the background and my mind was other places. Mostly on the fact that I didn't want to go home and be by myself. Also, I was pretty sure Lukas was still outside. Joel came back downstairs, hair wet and fresh clothes on. "She asleep?" I looked down at Sarah and back at him. "Yeah. She wanted to watch Harry Potter so much but has been asleep for the past twenty minutes."

He came over and gently picked her up. "I'll go put her in bed. I'll be back." I nodded and he walked towards the stairs. I turned and looked out the window. I couldn't see his car but something told me he was still out there. "Looking for that guy that was sitting outside your house?" I turned and looked at Joel. I sat back on the couch and he sat on the other side. "Can't seem to take a hint that I'm not interested," I told him. "Has he been bugging you for a while?" He asked.

I shrugged, "maybe a couple weeks. I went out with him once because my friend wanted to go out with his friend but she didn't want to go alone. So I was talked into a double date," I said. "And you didn't enjoy yourself?" I scrunched up my face and shook my head. "No. He's a little boy playing dress up in daddy's closet. Completely self absorbed. Not my type either." He chuckled, "damn. Dating is a lot different now then it was when I was your age."

"You mean back in the stone age?" I tried to keep a straight face but couldn't. "You wound me. I am not that old!" He said. "Why isn't he your type? Besides the self absorbed part. What else is wrong with him?" He asked. I moved so I was sitting on my knees and sitting back onto my heels. "Well, let's see… he's rich or his parents are so he thinks he's better than everyone. Um… he thinks he's God's gift to women. Has never had one complaint when it comes to sex. He's never been told no so when he is he throws a fit. He's manipulative and narcissistic."

"Besides I like older guys," I shrugged. He raised his eyebrow, "and he's not older than you?" He asked. "No, he is. He's twenty-three but a lot of guys in their twenties are still little boys and not serious about anything. Besides, I'm not really looking for a boyfriend. I'm Nineteen and I don't even know what I want to do with my life." I with the hem of my shirt. "That's okay…that you don't know what you want to do. You still have time to figure it out."

I nodded and then stood up. "I better go home. Let you get to bed," I said. Joel stood up and looked out the window and then back at me. "Why don't you stay here until Clara gets back." I shook my head, "I can't do that. I don't want to…" he held up his hand. "You won't be in the way or be a bother. You're here all the time. Sarah would love it. And I'll walk you over so you can grab some stuff." I smiled and nodded my head. "Okay. Thank you, Joel."
