Hey guys,
I'm so sorry it's taking so long to get the next chapter out. I promise it is in the process of being written. I've been struggling with my mental health and have just been trying to take it easy on myself. Plus, my dad's health isn't the best, and he ended up in the hospital. He's better now and back home, though.
Chapter thirty-six will be super fucking long so be prepared for that. I'm going to try and have this chapter with them getting to that bridge and getting across. Then, in the next chapter, I don't know if I want to go with another flash back or continue their journey to when they meet Sam and Henry. Maybe I'll do a half and a half.
Thirdly, I've been thinking a lot about what I want to do once season one/part one is over. We all know that in the end, they end up going back to Jackson. I'm trying to figure out if I want to end the story there or keep going with my own thing of them in Jackson or make a second book of them in Jackson.
Here's the thing with the life in Jackson. I have never played part 2 because it's not on pc, and that's what I play on. Secondly. Who knows when season two will be out, probably not until 2025. I mean, as far as I've seen, not only are the writers on strike, but I believe actors are as well. I hope they can figure it all out soon.
Now, if I do decide to go with either continuing in the same book or making a second part to it, I would do my own thing, but it would also follow along with part two of the game. I can find videos on YouTube of people playing the whole game to see what happens in it. I know a few things that happen because I've seen videos like that before.
One of the most important parts is that Joel dies. I myself could never kill Joel. But at the same time, it is a huge part of Ellies character development. So, I would need to figure out a way where I can keep Joel alive, but still have something that impacts Ellie in such a strong way, so I can keep her character development like it is in the game.
If you have ideas, let me know in the comments or even let me know what you would like to see happen in the story. I will try and get the next chapter out by today sometime or Monday evening at the latest. Just keep in mind I am EST (Eastern stander Time)
