Hanna poured Adaline a cup of coffee and sat it down right in front of her at Hanna's kitchen island.

"I cannot believe Noel Kahn actually did that," Spencer said aghast.

Adaline shrugged. "He blamed me for getting him kicked out of school and wanted me to look as bad as he did."

"And he confronted you? Alone?" Aria asked, toying with her mug.

"At first," Adaline said. "But Jason had came back to check on us, and he found me and Noel."

Aria eye's gleamed at Adaline.

"Jason knows it wasn't us then?" Emily asked.

Adaline took a sip of her coffee and nodded. "I thought you were getting your own room?"

Emily and Hanna shared a look. "That was before the pipes went off behind the walls," Emily explained.

"They had to fix the pipes and put the wall back in, so we're roomies until then!" Hanna added.

"It'll be fun," Emily said, unconvincingly.

Hanna smiled broadly. "I know, it's gonna be like a sleepover that never ends."

Adaline eyebrows jumped up while glancing at Aria.

"Has Garrett called you about Ian's messenger?" Spencer asked Emily as she leaned up against the counter.

"Not a sound," Emily responded.

"We dragged Garrett into this, we just gotta trust him," Aria said.

"We're trusting him with Ian's ten-thousand dollars, and I could've used some of that to replace Melissa's ring," Spencer sighed.

Hanna looked at her incredulously. "And if they traced the money from Ian to you? How would you explain that?"

Spencer shook her head. "I just don't like waiting. If we're too quiet, A will get bored and stir the pot."

"But if we say something, A is going to smack us down again," Adaline argued. "I cannot go through another fiasco like that damn fashion show."

"God, that look the Mrs. DiLaurentis' face," Emily said quietly, shaking her head.

The doorbell rang just as Adaline brought the coffee cup up to her lips. Hanna, seeing as they were all in her house, left the kitchen to answer the door. Aria walked over to the coffee pot and poured herself another cup.

"This isn't just about making us look like bitches anymore, is it?" Aria asked.

"No," Spencer replied. "It's about keeping us quiet."

"Why?" Aria asked.

"Because A might really be the one who killed Ali," Adaline suggested. "Why else go through all of the trouble of setting up Ian if A wasn't the one who really killed her?"
