H- How about Timber?
M- the one that goes "It's going down, I'm yelling timber?"
H- well duh.
S- that's a good one!
D- I agree we just have to shorten it.. or remix it.
M- Sean can remix it for us!!  It'll sound so good!!
H- he is good at that!

I noticed Daisy's face go pink.

H- I see how it is Daisy...
D- what?
H- you have a thing for Sean!
D- DO NOT!
M- it's pretty obvious~
S- you're not good at hiding things Daisy.
D- fine, I do. Please don't tell!
H- I swear!
M- same.
S- of course Daisy!
D- thanks guys.

I found my eyes drift over to the soccer field and they managed to lock on Jake Sterling, my absolute best friend. He can be hard to work with when it comes to the mats but in the end he's well.. Amazing... perfect.... Gorg- Nope. Hailey you stop.

S- Earth to Hailey!
H- sorry!
M- watching them play?
D- or watching him play?
H- just watching them play, don't you guys remember? I don't have a "Thing" for anyone.
S- right, she likes them fictional.
M-they are best that way.
D- girls! Focus!
H- right! Sorry.

We played the song a few times and sent it to Sean to edit into a cheer dance type song. After what felt like 5 minutes, more like 20 he sent us the song

D- wow, I like that explosion at the end!!
S- so now we have our song, let's make the dance
M- I'll grab the poms!

We all got into formation and after what felt like the millionth time practicing I had the Toe-touch into star into high V part locked into my head.

H- are you guys as exhausted as I am?
S- I'm very tired.
D- it is 5, they have 30 minutes left over there want to go watch before we have them help us with the mats again?
M- sounds better than my math homework!
H- you better do it!
M- I will... later.
H- I'm watching.
D- let's go!

We all went and sat on the bleachers near the field watching the team play a scrimmage round. Half the team wearing yellow and the other half orange. They were really good, I have to admit that. I caught myself staring at Jake again.. daydreaming. This can't be happening, not him...

Before I knew it practice was over, and I was holding a heavy mat with Jake behind me and Luke in-front again. Jake kept saying he was gonna drop the mat but this time around he didn't.

H- thanks guys, you're great helpers.
L- no problem Hailey!
J- no (gasp) problem.

Jake was out of breath

L- you good Jake?
J- yeah (gasp) just need (gasp) some water.
H- are you gonna pass out

He shook his head and we all walked back to the bleachers where he got his water

J- see? All good.
H- good because you were starting to sound like SpongeBob when he is out of the water.
L- that's actually spot on!
J- ha ha. Very funny. I'm no SpongeBob, I'm not yellow, and childish.

I looked at his yellow vest he had on from practice and then at him with his pouty facial expression.

J- okay maybe a little bit.
L-(laugh)
H- Zander's on his way, need a ride Jake? it's just us, Zander and Milly.

He looked at me and Luke debating the question when Milly ran up and jumped on him

M- BOO!
J- MILLY!
M- haha got ya!
J- anyways, I guess I'll tag along.
H- sounds good!
M- you're coming with Jake?
J- yeah.
M- sweet!
L- look he's here!

Our group walked toward Zander's bright Purple Jeep. I was stuck in the back right in between Jake and Milly since Milly tends to get carsick in the middle. Great, more time to think about how I'm falling for my guy best friend.
