Sirius watched as Renee paced the living room. They all gathered at the couple's house, awaiting the arrival of Little Fawn. Lily and James were checked in at a Muggle hospital close to her parents and far away from the dangers of the Wizarding World. Everyone was on high alert since they found out about the prophecy.

"I was out searching for a Seer to fill the Divination teachers post and the one I interviewed had a prophecy, that I believe entails the future of one of your children."

"What did they say?" James demanded, pulling Lily closer. The woman shared a fearful look with Alice.

"One of your children will hold the power to defeat Lord Voldemort."

"And how do you know it's one of their children?" Renee asked skeptically, rubbing her brother's back.

"She said that the child will be born 'as the seventh month dies', as far as I am aware both Misses Longbottom and Misses Potter are expecting their children to be born around then. I suggest you go into hiding, if we know, there's a very good chance that the Death Eaters know as well."

Sirius stood still as Renee caught his eye. She quickly stalked toward him, standing a foot away. "I don't know whether to cry or to jump in excitement. How are you?" She examined his face, noticing the deep bags under his grey eyes, as well as the stubble adorning his jaw and chin.

"They'll be okay, we'll make sure of it. I'm alright, getting lonely at the house." Ren turned away, looking at the crowd mingling in her house. Friends catching up, celebrating. She couldn't fully feel the lightness that she thought she would once her niece or nephew entered the world. Of course, Little Fawn wasn't here yet, but still, she didn't think she could feel it. Not when the most disgusting and cruel wizard could burst in any minute and murder them all. Or torture them into telling him where James and Lily were so that he could kill them.

"You are always welcome here, Siri. You haven't been around much, I'm sure you have your reasons. We did build that spare room for you. I know we didn't necessarily mention that to you but it's yours." The man smiled down at her, looking away when she glanced at him.

"Neville Longbottom, born at 10:38 PM, is happy and healthy. Alice is amazing and we are on our way into hiding! Wish you all the best!" Frank's voice rang out into the room from his patronus. The lot burst into cheers, hoping that Frank and Alice could feel their love.

"You don't seem very excited, Renny." Sirius pried, sipping his fire whiskey. Renee turned down the offer of his drink. She sighed heavily.

"I'm scared. It's all feeling so real. We don't even know the next time we'll see them." Sirius nodded, signifying that he understood her concerns. "Next will be Jamie and Lils. What if when we see them Little Fawn won't be so little anymore?"

"From what I know, they'll be coming here first and then they'll be leaving. However..." He turned to her, and she faced him as well, "they'll be fine. If we don't get to watch Little Fawn grow up but they're safe then that's that. We'll be able to make up for lost time." Renee stared at him in bewilderment.

"When did you get so intelligent?"

"I'm about to be an uncle, I have to grow up sometime. You should as well, considering you'll be an aunt." Renee let out a snicker and swatted his chest.

"That's something, isn't it? One of the two, Little Fawn will be entering the world anytime now." Remus joined the two, causing Sirius to down his drink.

"Anytime. Do either of you need a drink?" Both shook their heads, "Just me, see you later." Renee watched as the older man walked away from them, confused. The statement seemed a little cold, but maybe she was reading into it.

"Hello, love. What were you two talking about?" The werewolf asked, staring at Sirius' back as he walked to the liquor cabinet.

"He was helping ease my mind about Little Fawn." Remus nodded, seemingly not convinced. "Said some pretty insightful things. I was surprised."

"Your mind is at ease now?" She nodded, reaching up to fix his collar. "Good, I'm glad. Want to step outside with me?" Ren grabbed his hand, pulling him out the front door. Very few eyes noticed. Dorcas nudged Marlene, who just smirked at the interaction.

"They've got to have baby fever."

"Oh, Lily! Jamie!" Renee jumped into her brother's arms, kissing his cheek before moving on to kiss Lily's.

"Renny, we'd like you to meet your nephew; Harry James Potter." James gently took the baby from Lily and placed him in his sister's arms.

"Harry. Merlin, you're small." She fixed the bundle of blankets around him to see his face.

"Babies usually are, Ren," Remus stated, hugging James.

"You two are next." The redhead laughed from the hospital bed.

"Is everyone else here?" James asked.

"In the waiting room. The staff isn't so happy about it. Sirius and Marlene aren't too happy as well. But Ren called dibs."

"They get to be the Godparents so; I feel like they can wait." Ren laughed, still staring at the boy in her arms. He was perfect, so innocent. If he only knew what world he had just entered. She didn't even know she had started crying.

"You're going to be the Godparents of the next one, don't worry Renny," James stated, patting his hand on her shoulder before going to greet their friends.

"I cried for an hour straight after he came. It will be okay; we're planning on leaving soon. He'll be safe. I was going to ask while James was here too, but Professor Dumbledore had brought up something to us last week. The Fidelius charm. It's an ancient charm that can protect a family by having a secret keeper, and we were wondering if—when it comes time, you would be our secret keeper."

"Of course, you know I would do anything for you lot!" Renee handed Harry to Remus and hugged Lily as she sat up. The woman wiped away her tears while laughing. "Oh, I'm an absolute mess. I love you; we should let the others in here now. I'm afraid we've hogged you."

"I love you too, Renny. We'll see you soon."

"Finally, let me see that boy." Sirius pushed his way through the crowd, Marlene jumping up from Dorcas' lap to follow him.

"I'll be right back, just going to see when visiting hours end." Ren kissed Remus' cheek and wandered off to the nurse's station. She looked around before stepping up to it.

"How can I help you?" A short blonde woman asked, smiling.

"Uh, yes. I was wondering if there was any way I could find out if I'm pregnant?" The nurse nodded, not minding Renee's whispering.

"What's your name, love?"

"Renee Potter."

"Well, Misses Potter—"

"Miss Potter. Sorry, that's not relevant, I don't know why I corrected you." She flushed, suddenly feeling very hot.

"No worries, why don't you follow me? We'll talk somewhere more private."

"Now, this test will take quite some time, you can either take it home or we can do it here." The nurse stated, holding a package in her hands. Renee bit her lip nervously.

"I think I'll take it home, I'm sure my boyfriend is ready to leave. Thank you very much!" She exclaimed, pulling the unexpecting woman into her arms.

"It's my pleasure, I hope you get the results you're hoping for."

"Are you ready to go?" She asked Remus as she reentered the waiting area.

"Of course, when does visiting hours end?" He looked down at her suspiciously.

"At 4, everyone should have time." She kissed his cheek before pulling him behind a curtain, where they apparated home.
