"I still can't believe Professor Lupin left." Harry sighed watching his aunt pack his things for him.

"Well, Rem didn't feel too comfortable staying with everyone knowing. Children can be ignorant." Renee held her wand in her closed fist, levitating the clothing into the case. Harry only nodded at his aunt, not sure how to continue the conversation. It was weird, to say the least. He used to be able to talk to Hedwig about everything. Now he couldn't think of a three-word sentence. Renee didn't seem to mind. She just kept cleaning up the dormitory.

"You're still coming with me to the Dursley's right?" Ren stopped, looking over at the boy. His glasses were askew, hair a mess.

"You're not going back there, Harry." It took all of two seconds for Harry to wrap his arms around her. Renee stood shocked, slowly returning the embrace. He mumbled a reply as she patted his hair down. "You think I'd let you? Now that I can be a person?"

"But you're technically dead." Renee chuckled, letting Harry back away from her.

"We should probably go, the train is going to leave without us."

"Wow." Both Potters stood in front of the cottage, mouths agape. Remus shook his head in amusement. Harry's bags floated behind them as they entered the house.

"Had to tidy up, but everything's still the same." Renee nodded, looking around. Suddenly overwhelmed with emotions she drew in a deep breath. "Sirius is in the spare room. We can build another if you'd like." The woman's blue eyes widened as she looked at the man. They had two spare rooms and a library. The one room hadn't been stepped in for years. Nobody dared to since Remus had shut the door.

"Siri?" Ren called into the hallway. Sirius appeared from a doorway that led to his room. He quickly passed the library and hugged Renee tightly.

"Harry!" Sirius then hugged the boy, gesturing to his luggage with a smile. "Told you we'd live together, of course, didn't think Renny had this place still." Remus disappeared, Renee glanced into the kitchen area, hoping to see him.

"Well, I'm glad I don't have to go back."

"Harry, for now, we'll have you set up in the library. I've conjured a bed in there. We'll get working on more rooms tomorrow." Renee cheered as Sirius sighed.

"I forgot how strange you are."

"I'm not strange, you're strange."

"Who likes renovations? Nobody except for you." Sirius glanced at Remus who nodded.

"I think they could be fun." Harry pitched in to defend his aunt.

"See?" She gestured to the boy and laughed. "This is all so exciting. Maybe we'll add on to the second floor, extend the rooms to be over the library. Or we could add a hall that goes in the opposite direction of Siri's room. Add rooms on the second and first..." Renee made a signal for parchment and Remus left to grab it as well as a quill.

"We only need one room, Renny." The Hufflepuff let out a condescending laugh shaking her head.

"Do you not remember our conversation at Hogwarts, Rem?" Sirius and Harry looked at the werewolf for an explanation. He just stared at the woman. Ren noticed the lack of response and looked up from the paper she had draped over the coffee table. "Was I not supposed to mention that?"

The month after Harry's third year had passed by rather quickly. Mostly just the four of them in the cottage doing renovations. Ron Weasley would often come to hang out and stay over. It had been nice. They had been a family. Harry still didn't call her Aunt or anything. But she quite enjoyed it. Hearing him call Petunia Aunt turned her off of the name. Now Renee had been planning the wedding as much as she could, unfortunately there had been one tiny detail in the way of their event.

"6-2-4-4-2..." Renee whispered to herself as she pressed the telephone buttons. The Atrium had barely changed. It was still bustling with witches and wizards, always in a rush. She was glad that nobody seemed to notice her. Not that she expected anyone to anyways. Within minutes she stood before heavy oak doors, which she hadn't seen for years. She pushed them open with ease. Greeted by the same layout the Auror's office had when she worked there. Ren kept her eyes wandering mostly from each picture of Sirius Black. They had a few other criminals' pictures up but there were at least seven pictures of Sirius. She snickered at the fact that Sirius was at the cottage in a flowery apron attempting to bake. A stark contrast to the screaming headshot.

"Can I help you?" It took Kingsley a couple of seconds before he realized who was standing beside his cubicle. His head shook back and forth, trying to understand. "Renee Potter?" He asked, taking to his feet. They didn't know each other well. Just worked a few cubicles apart and went on one assignment together. So Renny was shocked when the man embraced her. Still, she hugged him back.

"I was wondering if I could make a report. But I would like to talk about it over coffee or dinner first."

"Don't get mad." Renee leant over Remus' shoulder, placing a kiss on his lips after he turned to her. He folded up his copy of the Prophet and placed it neatly on the kitchen table. "Where's Harry and Ron?"

"Bedroom. Now what am I not getting mad about?" Renee tugged her fiance up and towards the couch. She pushed him to take a seat and followed, sitting on his lap.

"I invited Kingsley over for dinner tomorrow." As if she knew it was coming, Renee started placing quick kisses on the werewolf's neck.

"You went to the Ministry?" He raised his voice slightly. "Kingsley is a Ministry official. He has to report anything that happens. Which means he has to report you being alive." Renee captured his lips. Moving passionately against them. It didn't even take a millisecond for Remus to reciprocate. "Ren." He whispered as she continued down his jaw. His hands gripped her thighs, rubbing them up and down. "Renny. You realize how bad this could be?"

"We are going to tell him the truth." She whispered against his skin.

"You're going to go to Azkaban. Miss unregistered animagus." The touch had now moved from her thighs to her spine, ghosting through the fabric of her blouse.

"Okay, well I'm going to tell him that he locked me up and took my wand. I couldn't show myself because I knew he would find me." Ren had now left Remus' lap, to which he had almost protested. He would've kept her there all night if it weren't for the two teens upstairs. Not to mention the man outside, tending to the night garden. Sirius had decided he needed a day garden and a night garden. They didn't know why. Just let him do whatever he wants.
