"Who's that?" A shorter woman was standing between James and Lily Potter, she blew the camera a kiss. She had long dark brown curly hair. It seemed to be taken at their wedding. Lily was wearing white and James was in expensive-looking wizarding robes. The next picture that featured the woman was with just James. He gave her cheek a sloppy kiss and she playfully pushed him away. They looked to be in their mid-Hogwarts years.
"I'm not sure. Maybe a childhood friend?" Harry suggested, flipping through the album Hagrid gifted him. "She's in quite a few of them, but so are these guys." Hermione takes the book from his hands. Her nose was close to touching the page. She gave Harry the book back, standing from the dormitory couch. "Where are you going?"
"She's wearing a Hufflepuff Prefect badge. I'm going to see if there's any record on it." It didn't take her long to find the history. However, she decided to wait until breakfast to break the news to her friend.
Hermione Granger dropped the Prefect records down in front of Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. Both startled, they jumped back in their seats. Ron spits his pumpkin juice on his robes as a result. He glared at the bushy-haired girl. "Take a look." She stated confidently, choosing to ignore the redhead completely. Harry gasped at the page, on it showed a picture of the girl and the year she was made Prefect.
"Renee Potter?" He couldn't believe it. All this time his father had a sister! How come nobody told him? Surely, they knew.

"I just don't think you should be going out anymore. You could've died last week, Renny." Remus handed her a glass of fire whiskey. She took a sip, looking up at her boyfriend.
"You know I can't just stay locked up in here, I understand your concerns but I can handle this. Last week's raid was a coincidence."
"Yeah? Just like last month's attack on St. Mungo's?" He shot back, hands on his hips.
"Oh, Moony! She'll be fine! Plus, with Sugar here doing the Auror missions, we get more through the Order." Sirius threw his arms over the back of Renee's chair, leaning down so their heads were next to each other. Ren nodded, throwing her hand up as if she was saying, 'See he gets it.'
"Sirius, please. This is an issue between Renee and I. I know she told you you could stay here. However, that does not give you the right to put your two cents into our conversations. Also, that raid included Order members, so it was more of a joint operation." Renee glanced at Sirius, who just stared at the werewolf.
"You're not giving her enough credit. She's strong and brilliant. She can handle herself." The woman couldn't help her eyebrows shooting up. She quickly moved her sights onto Remus, who then rubbed his hands over his face.
"I know she can. But she almost died. These people won't hesitate. If Wilson sees you again Ren, it's likely you won't make it. Not everyone's childhood crush lasts into adulthood." The Hufflepuff furrowed her brows, taken aback by the statement.
"Nobody mentioned Wilson crushing on me, Rem. We know that's over; it's been over for years now. Why would you bring that up?" Remus' eyes stayed on Sirius'; they didn't pay any mind to the woman in between them.
"I'll just meet you at the meeting." Black stood, waved his wand, and disappeared.
"What was that?" Ren asked, also standing. Remus didn't say anything, he just picked up Debra, who was circling his legs. "Hello?"
"He's been acting weird lately." The sentence was simple but full of venom.
"So have you. Now talk to me."
"Someone is feeding information to the Death Eaters. Dumbledore brought it up the other day when I was meeting with him. It was a quick comment but I caught it." Renny laughed, startling Debra.
"And you think it's Sirius?" She wiped a tear from the corner of her eye and cleared her throat, "he ran away from all of that, why would he go crawling back!" Her face got serious, voice raising.
"He's been different—secretive—after Regulus." The tall man didn't even want to mention the fact that he's been looking at her differently the past couple of months. Just the thought that she could feel the same for him, scared Remus. Oh, how the times have changed.
"He lost his brother! Of course, he's going to be different. He's grieving." Lupin saw that she was not going to listen to his reasons, so he backed away. Not realizing they had gotten so close.
"Alright, I'm sorry. I just don't want you to get hurt." Her face softened and she grabbed his face, pulling him down to meet her lips.
"I love you."

"Black, McKinnon, and Potter. You'll be participating in the most thrilling stakeout. Kingsley will pass you the envelopes with the details."
"Moody, I won't be able to do the stakeout," Marlene stated, gesturing to her broken leg from the last mission she was on. The reason she couldn't Owl Dorcas before coming home.
"Right, well... Black and Potter, you can do it."
"I'd like to join." Remus stood, walking to Kingsley, and grabbing Renee and Marlene's copies of the plans. Kingsley passed Sirius the last one in his hand. Black didn't take his stare from the werewolf. Ren quietly thanked her boyfriend for handing her hers. The members all scattered, taking on individual conversations, leaving Renee to sit in peace.
"Hey Ren, can't help but see that you're stressed. Chocolate frog?" Peter sat beside her, Ren took the wrapped chocolate and smiled.
"Thanks, Pete, yeah. They've been at each other's necks since this morning. Now we're going to spend all night out at Malfoy Manor." She nibbled on the frog, giving Peter the card.
"Maybe they'll realize that they've been childish and put it aside for tonight." She looked at him as if he had grown an extra head. "Yeah, probably not. But one can hope."
"Not, I'll see you later Pete. Thanks for this. It's nice to see you out of the house." Peter smiled back at the Potter and watched as she joined the two men by the door. "Let's go girls." They both rolled their eyes before following her outside.
The Snowy Owl soared close to the Manor, getting a good look at who was inside. They figured that if an owl passed the wards, it wouldn't be as suspicious. Unfortunately, she couldn't spot their target. Matthew Wilson was number one on their list. Both because he had put out a hit on Renee and because he was one of the highest Death Eaters in the ranks. He would have way more intel than Dumbledore's spy. Renee landed on Remus' outstretched arm. He carefully put her on the ground next to him. Padfoot nudged her with his snout. "You don't have to be transformed," Remus stated.
"I get why he is though. What if we get ambushed and he can't get away in time? Then he's just a stray. Whereas if Bellatrix or someone else comes out he's Sirius Black." She reasoned, petting his head.
"Right." He said, turning his attention away from the dog and his girlfriend. The hedge they were behind was the perfect height. Remus had to crouch down a significant amount, but if he crawled to the edge, he could see to the front doors. Renee sat in between the hedge and the stone fence. Her back pressed against the cold hard surface and her feet hardly touched the shrubbery. Padfoot laid his head in her lap.
"I don't think much will happen tonight."
"And why's that, Renny?" Remus didn't bother looking back at her. Renee moved Sirius off her and stood.
"I just have that feeling. I'll be right back. I must pee." The men moved to stop her. "Relax, I'm just going in there." She pointed to the forest, giving a stern look.
"Okay, but shout if you need anything." The werewolf reluctantly gave in. Now holding his wand. They watched as she disappeared, "be ready, Padfoot." The dog's head bowed in agreement.
