Erik took the three of us backstage. We watched as the dancers and singers, including Carlotta and Piangi, were rehearsing Hannibal. "Here is where I leave you all. Try not to get yourselves into any trouble, and you won't have to worry about losing your jobs. Do not give me a reason to throw you out of here either, whether you are from a different time or not. Remember, you are not to tell the secrets of the Phantom of the Opera."
I turned around and was about to say something to him, but he vanished. He was probably making his way to the rafters so that the beam will fall on Carlotta.
"You know, he's not as scary as I thought he was." Leo spoke up. "Well...maybe a little."
Lizzy rolled her eyes. "You're such a baby. He's completely harmless."
Leo snorted. "If he's not as harmless as you say, then what do you call him murdering someone later in the movie? An act of good will?"
"He won't be murdering anyone." I shook my head. "Not if I have anything to say about it."
Leo and Lizzy both looked at me as if I had magically grown another head. "You can't be serious?!"
"Maestro." Carlotta said after spraying some liquid in her mouth. Why doesn't she just have a sip of water instead of spraying what that is like anyone else?

You long take your heaRRRttt-🎶Erik untied one of the ropes up in the rafters and released the beam, watching as it knocked Carlotta to the ground before slipping away into the shadows.
"Well, that's one way to stop her racket." Lizzy whispered.
"I think with some lessons, she may be able to sing differently to how she currently sings." I mumbled.
Monsieur Lefevre looked up at the rafters in anger. "For God's sake, man, what's going on up there?"
"Please, monsieur, don't look at me!" Oh, no, it's him! He's the one who Erik murders later! I have to find a way to make sure that Erik doesn't kill him, even if it does mean changing the plot slightly. "As God's my judge, I wasn't at my post!"
We can see that... "Please, Monsieur, there's no one there!" He decided to play a joke with everyone with what he said next. "Or if there is...well, then, it must be a ghost."
"Are you three the people he has spoke of in this letter? Leonardo and Elizabeth Burton, and Ella Turner?"
I held my hand out to Madame Giry and smiled. She held the letter with the red skull seal on it in her hands. "Yes. I am Ella. This is Leo." I gestured to Leo, who stood to my right. "And this is Lizzy, Leo's older sister. It's a pleasure to meet you, Madame. We're sorry for any inconvenience we may have caused during your busy schedule with rehearsals."
She shook my hand, but raised a brow at me. "It is no problem at all, Miss Turner. My apologies if this question surprises you, but have we met before by any chance? You seem awfully familiar."
