We followed behind Christine so that we wouldn't get lost amongst the crowd of people trying to give her flowers and telling her what a brilliant performance it was until we walked down a set of spiral stairs, down a hallway, and stood in front a door. Christine pushed it open for us and waited for us to walk in before closing it behind her.

She found a matchstick and sat on the concrete floor in front of a picture of her father with a candle just beside it. Lizzy sat beside Christine's right, and I sat beside her left with a stain glass window of an angel beside me. Ironic, considering the song that she's about to sing with Meg.

Lizzy looked from me, to a photo in front of her, then back to me again and her jaw dropped as she pointed to the photo. "Ella, this girl looks a lot like you."

I took a closer look myself and saw a small photo of me, or at least someone who looks like me, but the name 'Aria Riviere' was engraved above it. "Just a coincidence. You get people who look like other people everywhere you go. I take it this must be the girl you spoke about?"

"Yeah, who's 'The Hummingbird' you spoke about?" Lizzy asked.

Christine smiled as she stared at Aria's picture. "Aria Riviere was a musical genius. She taught herself how to play music. It did not matter the instrument. She said so herself that life is an adventure in itself, so why not play every single instrument you can find? When Monsieur Reyer, our orchestra conductor, listened to her play the violin one day, he allowed her to be a part of the orchestra. She was awarded the position of Prima Musician at aged 13, but she refused to accept the position."

"Her favourite instrument of all was the violin. I remember sitting beside Meg, Raoul, and Aria's little sister, Belle, as she played her violin. It was pure white, and there was something written on the back of it, but she wouldn't allow any of us to see. She said that it was a secret between herself and her 'angel of music'."

Lizzy raised a brow. "Why did she turn down that position? She would have been treat like a queen if she were made a Prima like you."

Christine chuckled. "She could very well have been, no doubt about that. However, the reason she turned the position down was for a purely selfless reason. Being a Prima comes with many privileges, including high pay. Aria's father made money out of his inventions and paintings, and the family have been living a simple life in a small village not far from here, so they managed to get by. He painted most of the paintings you see here."

"Anyway, Aria understood that there was a fellow musician whose family was barely scraping by on the wages they were receiving from the opera house. Serena, I think her name was. I believe she is married and has twin daughters."

Christine continued as she lit a candle for Aria. "On the day that Aria was given the chance to become Prima Musician, she refused, and instead, recommended that Serena take the position instead so that Serena and her family would be able to live without worrying about not being able to feed her family. An act of selflessness like that, as well as her devotion to music and helping others, had earned her the title of 'The Hummingbird'; a symbol of devotion, courage, hope, good luck, and light."

"Sounds a lot like something Ella would do." Lizzy told her.

I nodded. "It only makes sense to do something like that. Thinking about others instead of yourself is a lesson everyone should learn."

Christine smiled. "That is exactly what Aria said. If it wasn't for Aria, Serena wouldn't have earned enough money to not only feed her family and buy them new clothes, but also run a family business that she's always dreamed of having, which was to run a café."
